“In 2012 after living in our house for the last 18 years, we decided to update our 1970's colonial rather than move. This project included the landscaping as well as the home itself. After looking at many landscape companies and numerous properties, we decided to hire The LaurelRock Company. We felt that their landscape designers were very current and had a way of listening and interpreting a very botanically uneducated clients wishes! They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. The outcome was a very cohesive project that was handled with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Thank you LaurelRock for helping us have the home of our dreams !”

“We have worked with Aran and his team for several years to completely transform our landscape. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting. We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home. We continue to invite Aran and the team back year after year to tackle new projects and continue to beautify our land.”

“LDAW remodeled my pool and plantings for the landscape around the pool. They also designed the plantings for the front of my home. This is an extremely professional organization and I would use them again. Estimates are done by the owner and his drawings will explain exactly what to anticipate. The laborers are on time, reliable and take a lot of pride in their work. The owner is available and will return calls if need be. I cannot see how things could have gone better for both of these large projects for my home.”

“I wanted a unique Brooklyn backyard that was striking and pleasing. Something that maximized its size, shape, sun and shade. I believe that was accomplished to the max. FireDean was always up front with time and cost. He provided a blueprint and photoshop picture of the finished garden and an itemized list of all plants, material and labor costs. Any changes were agreed upon beforehand. The stonework took a little longer than expected because of his attention to detail. Our back and forth communication was always prompt and complete. I trust FireDean to always do excellent work. He prides himself on his finished product and pleasing his customer. He did both in my case. I know I'll have years of pleasure with my backyard. “Richard is a very professional personable and well versed landscape artist! I have used Richard to landscape my home, my courtyard, and have recommended his services to my neighbor(used Richard) and friends! Richard has extensive knowlege of perenials, bushes, trees, soil, top dressings, and how best to feature each plant in the garden! He has a very high work ethic and guarantees his work and his plants! Richard will often stop by to check on the plants to see how they are doing and if there is a better location in the garden for the plant, he will replant! “Genna has done work for me for more than 15 years, in several different homes. She is a delight to work with. Her ideas are terrific, she is very sensitive to clients' tastes and budgets and brings projects in consistently on time and within budget. We wanted the impossible --- lovely gardens, reasonably priced, and very (very) low maintenance. Genna has always delivered. Neighbors stop to admire our front yard, if only they could see the back! Even better! Genna has done plant designs, hardscaping, patios, stone steps, outdoor showers, the whole gamut. She bids out the jobs, checks references on the contractors and oversees the installation. She continues to answer questions even years after a project is done. “Bryan Quinn of One Nature advised me on the planning and design of a wetland improvement project funded through the Natural Resources Conservation Service involving development of two ponds and restoration of native habitats within the surrounding areas comprising about 15 acres.. After evaluating site conditions and laying out an overall conceptual plan for habitat zones, nature trails and observation points, he prepared a detailed plan and specs for planting groves of trees, site maintenance and circulation for areas immediately surrounding the ponds as well as supervision of site work. The work went quickly, on schedule and Mr. Quinn was very professional, generous with time and paid attention to detail, and within budget.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Mary Ellen Pirozzoli last summer on a rather large re-lanscaping project at my home. It involved grading, substantial plantings of large bushes and trees, as well as totally redoing the pool area, with slate and grass. also many flowers were added to the garden. She also helped me set up a vegtable patch. Mary Ellen is higly intellegent, and a joy to work with. She has very creative ideas, and I found her and her team to be punctual, and thoughtful.”
