“Anyone hiring a contractor these days does so with a certain amount of nervousness. There are so many stories of people being unhappy with the outcome or being left in the lurch after most of the investment has been made. I am happy to report that our experience working with Acorn was a pleasure from start to finish. We were looking for someone who would listen to our rough vision and translate it into something even better. Tom took the time at the beginning to really understand what we wanted and how it could work in our back yard. Once the work began, Tom and his team turned up every day that they scheduled – and on time every day. Tom was meticulous in preparing the site, so we know it is going to last many, many years. We couldn’t be happier with the finished garden. We just had our first backyard party and the guests all commented that it looked like the stream had always been there and that if they had a garden like this, they would want to spend all day sitting outside.”

“Don built a 30x16 patio with a wall,stairs down a back hill and lots of landscape plantings. Almost all of it was done with block and pavers. Put in nice and deep foundation work so it will last and drainage. Put in lots of trees and perennials along with several large beds that were all groomed and mulched. The job looks great and the workers are talented pros. They did all of the design work and made drawings for me so I could visualize what they had planed. All of the design work and drawings were free. That was a nice touch because others wanted to charge for this service. I will hire them again for what ever I need in hardscape and landscape. They also do maintenance work on landscape like spring cleanups and bed / mulch freshioning also.”

His award-winning designs have inspired me, and his work on my property has inspired others who see it to hire his team to beautify their properties as well. He is easy to work with whether you want someone to "do it all for you" or want a more collaborative approach. Quality of work is exceptional, and they stand by it. Once I hired them I never looked at another landscaping company!”
