“We used Live Oak Manors for a complete overhaul of our back yard landscaping and hardscaping, including the installation of synthetic turf. The project was completed in December 2017 and we are extremely happy with the end result. What was once a muddy, sad excuse for a sloping back yard which only the dog set foot in is now a beautifully terraced level green backyard with clean landscaping that the whole family is enjoying. We worked directly with Garon Thelen, owner of Live Oak Manors, and found him and his entire team to be very professional. They provided us with a detailed estimate which aligned perfectly with the final cost of the project, with the exception of a few change orders which we requested. In addition to the backyard hardscaping and landscaping, we also used Live Oak Manors for the installation of an irrigation system in the front of the house which they were able to install in one day and are currently working with them to install exterior lighting. The whole project was done quickly, very professionally and on budget - which is why we continue to use Live Oak Manors.”

“John was great! Our front yard was an unorganized jungle that completely blocked our home. We asked John to design a yard that complemented the 1920's prairie style, and the result speaks for itself. The angles of the home are contrasted with the large decorative boulders and wavy long grass, and the home is surrounded by Japanese maples that provide color contrast. I am sure that John could explain all the nuance that comes together so beautifully, but for me it is just a job well done and a wonderful result. John also designed L-shaped raised bed gardens behind the home and planted a lush array of flowering plants that really make the home stand out. Thanks, John!”

“I had Courtland Landscape Architecture to design and build a full backyard environment for our home. It include a stone paver walkway with grass surround, stone columns, extended natural stone patio work, an outdoor kitchen, oversized substantial pergola in cedar, innovative stonework for an outdoor built in hot tub look, and complicated and beautiful outdoor landscape lighting - all integrated with timers and existing home lighting. My experience was excellent! Lance created a beautiful design, maintaining a design aesthetic that exceeded my own ideas and standards. I trusted his design judgement completely. 100% first class. HIs team of craftsmen (and that's exactly what they are) were simply the best available in Atlanta and took extreme pride in their work. Never rushed - always done the right way. “After talking with a few other landscape companies, my wife and I hired Prospect Design Co. to come up with a landscaping solution to some drainage issues in our back yard. We were impressed with Chad's approach; it had the practicality we needed, but also a design sensitivity and a sense of craft that I wasn’t seeing in the other companies. His solution was creative, smart, and looks great. He worked within our budget and phased the project out. The first phase (now completed) was hardscaping, including a patio area, pathway and drainage system. The crew went beyond what was expected, and Chad was good about keeping us updated on the progress throughout the project.
