“We have used Landscape Concepts continuously since 2012 for landscape services, mowing and routine maintenance and clean up. They are really good at minimizing any disturbance of surrounding plants when they are working. They keep our property looking as good as it can be. Their crews are excellent: thorough, efficient, respectful and responsive. Their clean up after working is always really great. They have planted, transplanted, and removed trees, bushes and other plantings at my exact direction (I'm very hands-on). While the cost to guarantee their plantings is high (60% of the cost of the plant material) it is the industry standard and Dale honors his guarantee with no-cost replacement. They do excellent hard-scaping (stone walls, brick and paver patios, etc). They are usually pretty prompt, but some seasons are pretty busy, so give yourself some lead time if you have a hard deadline. Dale is very knowledgeable, responsive, accessible and easy to coordinate with. I find a lack of continuity with landscape architects on staff, so it is helpful for you to have an idea of what you like or want when it comes to designing a space. I always keep a project plan with detailed notes and make progress updates. Credit card payment is not accepted.”

We have used Richard's expertise in two areas of our property, our driveway entrance and a side bed across from our pond. We have a rural setting and wanted to plant beds to enhance our natural environment versus a formal garden. Richard drew up a unique plan and color coded the plant drawings so we could envision how the beds would appear throughout the seasons providing continual color. The work is guaranteed replanting shrubs that did not survive the first year. We highly recommend Sunny Pond.”

They did a fabulous job and I highly recommend dealing with Bill Siewert. You can tell he's been in the industry for a long time and he really knows the business.
We recently had a severe storm with damaging winds and I had a tree fall against my house and into my yard. Upon falling, it destroyed several landscape features in my yard and I again called Outdoor Lifestyle Landscapes. Bill Siewert returned my phone call within 20 minutes, scheduled a time to assess the damage the very next day and provided a very detailed and comprehensive estimate within an hour. The repair installation was scheduled within a reasonable time frame and the crew was courteous and respectful of my property. They cleaned up after themselves better than any other contractor I've had to date. I'd highly recommend their service!”

“Marjorie Smith is a truly outstanding landscape designer. My wife and I have had many homes over the years. We have done some of our own landscaping, but typically we have hired and worked with landscaping professionals. Of those professionals, Marjorie stands head and shoulders above the rest. She has done multiple projects for us involving trees, bushes, and flowers in both sun, shade, and difficult spots. Here are the things we like best about Marjorie.
First, she knows what she is talking about. She has been a landscape design professional for many years and a gardening enthusiast for even longer. She knows what will look good, what will work well, and what will not. Her advice is invariably good.
Second, she is a joy to work with. She listens well, adjusts to our thoughts and feedback, and anticipates and works around any potential difficulties. I love trees and often have my own ideas about what species to use and where to place the trees. Marjorie always respectfully listens and improves upon my ideas. I have learned to greatly trust her.
Finally, she does exactly what she says she will do, for the price she quotes, and she does it very well. We know we can put ourselves in her hands and get a great, value added, result every time. My wife and I would not even consider working with anyone else.”

“The Rock Creek Innovations team was fastidious and professional from the initial planning meeting to the final shovel of mulch. They turned an unleveled, unkempt yard into a gorgeous courtyard surrounded by native plants and shrubs. In addition to creating a breathtaking landscape for our renovated Museum District home, they designed and installed an underground storm water basin to capture the water from our house, providing a self watering system for grass atop the basin. Rock Creek selected a stunning stone for the walkway and worked tirelessly to ensure that the walkway was set at the proper slope for run off.
The work crews were professional; polite, well groomed and knowledgable about the project. Phase 1 of our project took about three weeks to complete and I was pleasantly surprised that they cleaned up the site daily, always leaving the area as neat as possible. They showed up when they said they would, did what they promised at the cost that they predicted. We would highly recommend Rock Creek Innovations for any landscape or hardscape project.”
