“I have had the pleasure to know Bebe (Gardens by Design) for over 20 years. She has transformed my gardens into displays of artwork. She tirelessly designs, picks out planting’s and many other details which are too numerous to mention. She does it all. Her staff also maintain my gardens better than I can. What sets her apart from anyone else is she is always thinking of how the design will affect or compliment the environment. She uses all organic organisms to solve any pest issues that may arise. I would highly recommend Gardens by Design.”

“LDAW remodeled my pool and plantings for the landscape around the pool. They also designed the plantings for the front of my home. This is an extremely professional organization and I would use them again. Estimates are done by the owner and his drawings will explain exactly what to anticipate. The laborers are on time, reliable and take a lot of pride in their work. The owner is available and will return calls if need be. I cannot see how things could have gone better for both of these large projects for my home.”

“I hired TJB to renovate my 2 walkways, and widen my driveway to accommodate another vehicle. Ted's guys arrived on time, kept me up to date on the progress of the 2 jobs, and more importantly finished on time. TJB not only did an excellent job but also fixed a couple of items not in the the original quote for free. I will definitely use TJB again in the future and would also highly recommend their services.”

“Dede Delaney and Redtwig Garden Design have been working with me on our gardens since 2010. Redtwig has installed a cottage style front border featuring native species and herbs, a cutting garden, a shade border under spruce and white birch, and a blueberry and cranberry border on our pond, a lilac and peony border and provided maintenance and upgrades to existing areas. Dede is always mindful of our budget and has arrived and completed projects in a timely manner. Her suggestions are always helpful, her designs are impactful, her attitude is willing and cooperative. It will be my pleasure to continue working with Dede and Redtwig Garden Design -- I have recommended her to family and friends -- they have been equally pleased and impressed.”

“I wanted a unique Brooklyn backyard that was striking and pleasing. Something that maximized its size, shape, sun and shade. I believe that was accomplished to the max. FireDean was always up front with time and cost. He provided a blueprint and photoshop picture of the finished garden and an itemized list of all plants, material and labor costs. Any changes were agreed upon beforehand. The stonework took a little longer than expected because of his attention to detail. Our back and forth communication was always prompt and complete. I trust FireDean to always do excellent work. He prides himself on his finished product and pleasing his customer. He did both in my case. I know I'll have years of pleasure with my backyard. He carefully listened to our goals and then provided multiple options for our consideration. Unlike many service providers, Foster created a detailed estimate and stuck to it. “Bryan Quinn of One Nature advised me on the planning and design of a wetland improvement project funded through the Natural Resources Conservation Service involving development of two ponds and restoration of native habitats within the surrounding areas comprising about 15 acres.. After evaluating site conditions and laying out an overall conceptual plan for habitat zones, nature trails and observation points, he prepared a detailed plan and specs for planting groves of trees, site maintenance and circulation for areas immediately surrounding the ponds as well as supervision of site work. The work went quickly, on schedule and Mr. Quinn was very professional, generous with time and paid attention to detail, and within budget.”
