“In 2012 after living in our house for the last 18 years, we decided to update our 1970's colonial rather than move. This project included the landscaping as well as the home itself. After looking at many landscape companies and numerous properties, we decided to hire The LaurelRock Company. We felt that their landscape designers were very current and had a way of listening and interpreting a very botanically uneducated clients wishes! They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. The outcome was a very cohesive project that was handled with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Thank you LaurelRock for helping us have the home of our dreams !”

“Frustrated with my patio and the rusting wrought iron furniture I never used, I desperately needed some help. That's when I met Eva, from Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC. She made suggestions as to what type of furniture to buy, designed a layout, and helped me choose beautiful plant containers. That was just the beginning, since our original encounter, Eva and her team come over every season and fill the containers with flowers and plants, creating new and beautiful scenes. I am always impressed, and always look forward to what she'll come up with next. My favorite thus far may be this past Fall, my planters were filled with mums, kale, and chili peppers, among other things! She is extremely talented, uniquely artistic, and a pleasure to work with.”

“We have worked with Aran and his team for several years to completely transform our landscape. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting. We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home. We continue to invite Aran and the team back year after year to tackle new projects and continue to beautify our land.”

“LDAW remodeled my pool and plantings for the landscape around the pool. They also designed the plantings for the front of my home. This is an extremely professional organization and I would use them again. Estimates are done by the owner and his drawings will explain exactly what to anticipate. The laborers are on time, reliable and take a lot of pride in their work. The owner is available and will return calls if need be. I cannot see how things could have gone better for both of these large projects for my home.”

“Dede Delaney and Redtwig Garden Design have been working with me on our gardens since 2010. Redtwig has installed a cottage style front border featuring native species and herbs, a cutting garden, a shade border under spruce and white birch, and a blueberry and cranberry border on our pond, a lilac and peony border and provided maintenance and upgrades to existing areas. Dede is always mindful of our budget and has arrived and completed projects in a timely manner. Her suggestions are always helpful, her designs are impactful, her attitude is willing and cooperative. She tirelessly designs, picks out planting’s and many other details which are too numerous to mention. She does it all. Her staff also maintain my gardens better than I can. What sets her apart from anyone else is she is always thinking of how the design will affect or compliment the environment. She uses all organic organisms to solve any pest issues that may arise. “Philippe Soule has worked with me for the past four years to design, install, expand and maintain the gardens around my home in Columbia County. While most of the jobs pictured on his web site are city or town gardens, my property is a country house of relatively recent construction. Some work had been done at the property by a different contractor, but it was not properly scaled to the house and was not satisfactory. Philippe listened extremely well to my own ideas, and came up with a new planting plan that was responsive to my parameters while introducing wonderful new elements that I never would have come up with. He was able to make use of almost all of the plant material that was already on-site (though it was moved around and significantly augmented). He has a great sense of proportion and composition, and he knows his plants. The job involved laying out extensive new beds, and Philippe and his team laid them out well and brought in significant soil to make sure that everything would be properly planted. The initial planting looked very good the first year, but really came into its own in year two. Plants were thoughtfully selected to ensure year-round interest. Since Philippe's initial planting, he has added to the gardens with significant new plantings (some new beds near the house, and more trees around the property) each year. Philippe and his team have done all of the garden maintenance, and they keep the place looking great. His team are conscientious and professional. I could not be happier with their work.”
