“We hired Dan and Corey last summer to design plans for landscaping a difficult hillside and our front yard. They selected and installed the plantings and sod and installed cobblestone edging and a paver walkway. We decided to have them do the work in three phases to match our budget. They have completed the installation for two of the three phases, and we are thrilled with the outcome. Their work is top-notch. They have an eye for design and they use top-rated materials. In fact, they turned an eyesore of a rocky, weed-filled hillside into an asset. They know what they're doing, and they do things the right way. They are a small company (just the two guys) so they do the work themselves - which is how we like to do things. We plan to have them do the final phase this summer.”

“Jonathan designed a landscaping plan for our backyard, which had serious grading issues. The plan included regrading and the creation of terraces, the construction of several stone walls, and the planting of shrubs, trees, and some grass. Jonathan is a true believer in creating landscaped spaces which are sensitive to the surrounding environment, using native plants and local (or near-local) stone. He is also a passionate gardener. Jonathan is an absolutely amazing landscape architect! He considered our site carefully and well, and was always great to work with, stopping by daily to check on the work. From the start, he listened to our wants and needs, and gave us several options whenever possible. He subcontracted the construction of our stone walls to a company which did gorgeous work using Goshen stone (a 40-ft curved sitting wall, a patio, and a four-terrace garden). It has been a couple of years since the job was completed, and every single time we have a visitor, the yard receives compliments. Jonathan takes the long view, and so you must have patience and trust that as plantings grow, his vision will reveal itself over time; it will.”

“I hired Kathy to remove old, overgrown existing bushes and plantings and design a new garden and walkway border in front of my house.She came up with a beautiful plan that utilized low maintenance plants that were indigenous to the area and could be maintained with organic gardening methods.Since I live near a salt marsh,I did not want herbicides and pesticides used on my property in case of run-off into the ocean.I gave her my favorite colors and flower suggestions and she did the rest.She was very hardworking and came when scheduled so I felt she was very reliable.Her fees were fairly priced and I found her to be a pleasure to work with.I have recommended her to several of my neighbors and friends.”

“In January 2015 Michael White of Continuum Landscape Architects generously agreed to advise us on a PTA project to create a school garden. Not just a few beds for flowers and vegetables, but a dedicated outdoor space for educational use designed specifically to tie in with the elementary curriculum. Our committee had ideas from teachers and a concept design, but little idea how to get from paper to installation. Michael's expertise was invaluable. He addressed technical considerations and hardscape specifications, and estimated costs for materials and installation. Undeterred by our tiny budget, he provided beautiful plan and perspective drawings that helped us present our project to local landscape companies to solicit contributions of labor or materials. When at last we had the funding and other support to proceed, he essentially served as project manager, advising us frequently on materials, quantities, and work flow. In April 2015 Michael directed the hardscape installation work of a young team of Horticulture & Landscape students from the Minuteman High School, coming daily to mark out areas and make suggestions. His collaborative and encouraging manner throughout made the students feel like the experts! Michael was extraordinarily generous with his time. He attended two evening PTA meetings to present the garden project, and joined us for the Garden Classroom opening ceremony in June 2015 and a couple garden events at the school in the fall. We are extremely grateful for all of Michael's steadfast support, expertise, time, and enthusiasm. We could not have accomplished this ambitious school garden project without him.
