“We hired Bevins & Company to do a complete yard redesign and installation. The mission for the back yard was to remove a tired paver patio and to create a lush private space for entertaining and relaxation. The addition of two large structural trellises, as well as a screen of evergreens, gave us the privacy we needed, as well as giving us the space to grow ornamental vines that could be changed from season to season. Large urns give us a pop of seasonal color, and planting spaces, anchored by boxwood and climbing hydrangeas, allow us to attract butterflies and hummingbirds with perennials and annuals. The mission for the front yard was to remove overgrown shrubbery and to create a more open landscape for a large annual and perennial bed. Bevins & Company removed some plantings, worked with the remaining plantings, and balanced those with the addition of ornamental trees and shrubs. They removed an existing concrete sidewalk, re-oriented it to create a better traffic flow, and replaced the concrete with beautiful bluestone. During both phases, Bevins & Company was respectful of our budget and our time. Bevins & Company kept in constant touch so we were always aware of the project's progress. I would certainly hire this company again, and have recommended Bevins & Company to others.”
