“Have never had a problem with completion dates. They always check to see how things are doing during the year. Their designs are very well suited to my needs and the landscape. Very unusual designs and most appreciated. I have enjoyed working with them over these last few years. They bring books to show you what plants will go in. To have the entire project completed took a few years and was done in sections and the property looked great during all the three years as each section was completed.”

“Garden Architecture worked with my wife and I to redesign everything outside the walls of our house. The work included a driveway, walks, two entrances, patio, pond, firepit, retaining walls, stormwater management (two rain gardens and an underground surge tank), site lighting and plantings. I am an architect so brought some of my own ideas to the project, good and bad. Kirsten was a great collaborator and a delight to work with. She is knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the work and a creative designer, for our project doing everything from addressing tricky grading and drainage problems to creating a beautiful environment in which we now happily spend as much time as possible.”

“I have used the services of Miles Barnard of South Fork Studio Landscape Architecture for probably over ten years and multiple projects in different towns. Miles created a private oasis with pool and full landscaping in the rear yard of an historic house that I renovated in Chestertown, MD as well as doing full landscaping design services for a 5 1/2 acre property on Broad Creek in Annapolis, MD. Miles was especially helpful in working with the county government to get me through the extensive permitting process required to build a new house in the Critical Buffer Zone along a body of water in Annapolis. Miles is a total professional with great design skills, knowledge of the industry and ability to get the job done and work with contractors, engineers and architects.”

“We've worked with Tony Dufour since 1997 on landscapes for two different homes. He designed and installed full landscapes for both properties including ornamental and privacy plantings, walkways and driveway improvements. He also designed a custom swimming pool which fits well on a steep slope and within a small backyard, with necessary accompanying retaining walls. He surronded this living space with gardens which are in bloom throughout the swim season. Tony's company provides timely ongoing seasonal maintenance and tree care for us. Tony is extremely knowledgeable in both horticulture and construction; he is both responsive and professional, and has kept pace with the changing needs of our family. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any design/build/maintain need for any outdoor space.”
