“We converted and extended an old granite cottage in 2012. On completion we were left with a rock-filled site of nearly half an acre. Part of this is on a severe slope. When we first met Joanne she showed us examples of other projects she had completed. She explained what she did and how she charged. On appointing her we had a second meeting to discuss our preferences and what we wanted to avoid. Joanne left us with a questionnaire to help focus our thoughts. These were further refined after she surveyed our plot and produced a detailed planting plan. Joanne shortlisted landscape gardeners for us. Helping us source plants at wholesale prices more than saved the entire cost of her fee. She was always happy to help with planting when we had a large plant delivery. We highly recommend Joanne Evans. She has always been professional and friendly, often going beyond her original brief.
