“We found Green Roots Landscaping Inc. on Houzz and are so pleased that we went with their company to have our front yard designed and landscaped both with stone work and plantings. The existing front steps were closed in with an outdated garden strip so Green Roots Landscaping Inc. removed the strip, opened up the step area with a generous new patio step and patio stones and ran the open area along the driveway allowing for easier access to getting in or out of cars. The small and unsightly, even boring yard took on a new life. We now are the proud owners of a modern yard with grasses and love watching their movement in the wind! A planting of a witchhazel tree punctuates the garden and is uplighted to be admired by all that pass by. We love what Green Roots Landscaping Inc. have done with our front yard. They were professional and hard working for all that transpired in our yard, took them one day to complete. We would not hesitate to recommend this company. Thanks Ryan!”

“Re-seated and added to existing interlock, added a large custom gazebo, repaired lawn, rerouted downspouts, installed pigeon spikes. Excellent organization, good communication and fantastic work ethic, on time and within budget. I will be hiring them again this spring (2015) to regrade yard, install sod and a cedar hedge.”

“This entire project ran over the course of two summers. Phase 1 (2015) was the front entrance, sitting area, side path with a flat sitting area at the rear of the house. Project lasted 4 weeks and during the entire time all employees took extreme pride in their work. The project manager/Owner (Nico) took every opportunity to engage us in the progress of the project to ensure 100% satisfaction. Phase 2 (2016) project Manager (Nicholas) also took great pride in his work and collaborated constantly with us. The project lasted about 6 weeks and the end result was a rear sitting area with a stepped down intermediate area with a garden ( to avoid closing in the space with railings) which creates an extremely open atmosphere. Steps were created to all rear entrance areas continuing a constant flow. An added unique area is the BBQ section of the rear project which blends well with the rear sitting area created the year before. All this said we were extremely pleased with the outcome of all the hard work of both teams and their collaboration with us, Nico, Nicholas and their work crews were all eager to see our vision come to life. As a result of these two projects we have landscaping that enhances our home and we look forward to many hours enjoying our space. The workmanship and dedication to detail has passers-by inquiring, " who did this project" and we proudly proclaim "It was Dutch Green". We would highly recommend them to anyone.”

“In was so impressed with the service and professional advice I received from Jonathan's company. There are so many landscapers o choose from in the Ottawa area but not all of them provide the high quality service and budget respect that I was looking for. First of all Jonathan met my husband and myself to determine our needs. He provided timely creative design concepts and was able to be respectful of our budget and time frame. His personal touch was the deal breaker. Not invasive or demanding. His listening skills and professional advice were second to none. This was complemented by his working staff. Always courteous, on time and conducted their work with a smile. It was a pleasure to wake up in the morning and to see that I was in safe hands. I never had a doubt that our landscaping would exceed expectations and that we would be very happy with the outcome. Our investment was the best thing we ever did with the end result being spectacular.”

“We hired Ottawa Home and Garden last summer to complete the first phase of our backyard project. Andrew was amazing at providing the design. The crew was amazing as well and cleaned up every night before they left. Our backyard looks amazing, we can't wait to start the second phase.”
