Amy understood how important it was to us to have a yard that would be loved by not only us but our pets. It was a muddy wasteland and it wasn't fun for any of us. Xeriscaping is something I had admired from afar. It seemed really out of reach for us to consider but Amy and Chris made it happen and within our budget. The process began with Amy coming out and seeing our space and meeting our pets. She then created a 3D rendering of what our new yard would look like along with budget. She assured me that what we saw is what we got and there would be no surprise additional costs, which was exactly true for us. Love that. Chris went above and beyond making sure that he was able to secure the pet friendly plants, even if it meant driving further to a nursery that had them. The whole process was a little under two weeks (this is with a freeze and other odd weather) and they talked us through every step along the way. Now, we have worked with a general contractor landscaping company before but we didn't get what we thought and there were changes along the way. Something I learned about Anderson Landscaping is that Chris and Amy were pioneers of the xeriscape movement in Austin. Not only this but Chris is degreed with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science and Natural Resources. This meant everything they did to our yard and land was to help it thrive and survive without damaging its natural foundation. We also learned that all of their upper management have a Licensed Landscape Architect and Bachelor's of Agriculture meaning that this is an EXPERT team. I'm glad we did our research this time and hired the experts. Worth every penny and we wouldn't trust anyone else with our yard.”
