“Laurel Feldman was the interior designer and detail "go-to" person on our project. The project included gutting and re-designing the kitchen and decorating the living room, dining room and entry hall. Some of the new design consisted of opening walls in both the living room and dining room and creating a space where the kitchen is open and it all flows from one room to another. Laurel also designed a wall of built-in cabinets for the living room along with cabinetry and shelving for the dining room. She was also involved in re-designing the lighting, new flooring and removing wood paneling from the entire area. And of course...after all that...Laurel chose paint colors, wallpaper, light fixtures, furniture and accessories for our new space. Her knowledge and attention to detail enhanced all the choices she brought to us...always listening to what we wanted and making sure our thoughts balanced with the look we were envisioning. Laurel was able to help us use all our personal things that we wanted to exhibit and make our traditional favorite things work in our new mid-century modern space. She also helped us accessorize by picking some new items that soon became as comfortable to us as if we owned them forever. It was this personalization of finishing the project that made the difference. She envisioned the outdoors and surrounding ravines of our property as being part of the decor and helped us bring the outside indoors for us. It is a pleasure to come home every single day to the space that Laurel helped us create!”

“I have worked with Laura since we bought our house 8 years ago. She has done an amazing job at helping us decorate to our tastes -- but at least 10x better than we could have done on our own. She's helped us understand the space, what furniture will fit in it, the colors that will work best, etc. I think she's actually saved us money because every choice is well thought out -- we do not have to later discard items that do not fit or that do not coordinate well. Laura is very efficient and professional. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“We hired Michelle to help us redesign our master bath and are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. We wanted to create a spa like setting complete with a larger shower, luxury whirlpool and other creature comforts that women enjoy. Michelle came up with a stunning design that involved some changes of moving a wall, adding pocket doors and relocating some of the plumbing. Her plan included all the materials to be considered for the project and paint colors. We love the whirlpool that is large enough for two and has these fancy lights that change colors as the pool is on. Her design incorporated the existing master bedroom and she helped us with some ideas there also. Michelle is very creative, full of energy and an absolute joy to work with. There are many great designers in Chicago and she is definitely in that elite group of designers.”

He really listened to what I was looking for and made it a reality. I truly LOVE my picture wall and so many people love it when they walk in my house. “Meredith is an amazing designer. It is apparent she loves her job. She understood my style, my needs and my budget. When I wanted an item that did not fit into my budget, she found a way to make it fit or explained to me why this would put the project over budget and found alternatives when necessary. She designed our rental condo unit in the city, which was a clean slate and our new offices for my market research company. I always felt comfortable expressing my opinion and she was always quick to change out an item if I expressed doubt about it. I believe using Meredith actually saved me money while still achieving my goals and meeting my deadlines. I can't wait to work with Meredith on my next project-a basement design.”
