“We initially engaged with Kristin Petro Designs, Inc. for space planning during the architectural phase of our new home construction. Ms. Petro was knowledgeable and definitive, making many suggestions that significantly altered the original plan. These included room sizes, locations, patio designs and complete change on the location of our stairs. We were so impressed with her work, we engaged with her again for home planning. Ms. Petro helped us establish budgets after a thorough review of our style. She worked diligently to ensure we worked within these constraints and assembled a flow of material that would be impossible for us to coordinate on our own. Not only are we extremely satisfied with her design acumen, but her CAD skills utilized for all custom cabinet elevations allowed us to properly bid custom cabinet suppliers. The savings on this alone was an unanticipated silver lining. At the onset, I was against the use of any designer, but would not build another house without one. Ms. Petro gets an A+.”

“I have used Amber's services for two major projects-a complete kitchen remodel and also a re-decorating project of a first floor space including a living, dining, family and powder room. The kitchen remodel was both very technical as we were designing cabnetry and a new layout for appliances as well as design focused. I thought Amber nailed both parts of the project. My kitchen was amazing and everyone who saw it commented on how fantastic it had turned out. The re-decorating project focuses on furniture, lighting, wall coverings and art work. “Laura designed the nursery for our baby boy and did a beautiful job. I'm the type of person who knows what I like and do not like, but I have no idea where to begin when it comes to coordinating pieces and putting a room together. I knew I wanted a room that he would be able to grow with and did not have an overwhelming theme, but I did not have a very clear vision. Laura helped me refine my ideas and she came up with a design that was everything I wanted and more. The physical space provided certain limitations, as it is a small room with white walls we cannot paint, a large window, and old hardwood floors. Also, we are located in Los Angeles, so this was a remote project for her. She was very thoughtful in choosing furniture that maximized the small space and still allowed us to have the traditional nursery furniture pieces. There is plenty of open room for toys, books, and floor space for playing. She chose simple pieces that balance nicely with the colorful elements of the room and incorporated items that provide a stimulating and sensory environment for my little one (a shaggy rug, colorful geometric mobile, bold striped curtains, large wall map decal, etc.) The nursery is my favorite room in our house, and it is so comforting to see the smile on my son's face when he is in his room; I have never seen a baby be so engaged with his space. Laura did not just design a room that looks nice, but is mostly for sleeping and diaper changes. She created an place where every element serves a purpose and provides a comforting and engaging environment for baby boy. She was very reliable, communicative, and easy to work with (even from a distance). I look forward to working with Laura again when we buy a house in the next few years.”

“I hired Rebecca/GoGo Design Group to remodel and design a master bedroom/bathroom. She totally transformed and utilized space that i would never have thought to use. She worked closely with my builder, Making sure lighting was the correct height and fixtures were put at the right height and place. She paid attention to DETAIL.... She even made sure the tile guy laid the tile so the seams were not seen and the room looked larger. She was a pleasure to work with, even with all my last minute decisions. I would highly recommender her as a designer. She has great people working for her and with her, which makes the entire process so much easier when you are doing any kind of remodel/construction.”
