“My husband is very handy so we knew he could do the work. Problem was we didn’t have a design plan. I decided to call a professional. From the initial phone call, I felt I could work with Becky. She asked lots of pertinent questions, and I scheduled a home consultation. The project was a living room in a 30 year old house which hadn’t been redecorated in 20 years. We have views of a lake, so a nautical theme seemed natural. After much discussion, Becky suggested a “nautical shabby chic decor” complete with chandelier and seashells. She mentioned several architectural changes, such as taking down a 3/4 high wall near the stairs and installing a horizontal window over the fireplace. Just these 2 ideas added much-needed light into the room. We added white faux beams to the ceiling, a warm ash hardwood floor, and gorgeous grey walls (not a color I would have considered until I saw her picture board). What I especially liked was that she also helped me choose some wonderful, inexpensive accent pieces - a 4 foot sailboat on a shelf over our piano, cut glass lamps to enhance the chandelier, and a beautiful golden rug. These were found in consignment stores! We found Becky easy to talk to and she had out-of-the-box ideas! She listened to what we told her. She is an excellent communicator, and doesn’t try to talk you into something you are not comfortable with. Becky was reliable and when she says she will call you, she does. We would definitely recommend her to anyone who is thinking about a design plan. The outcome is a stunning room that we will be able to enjoy for years to come!”

Sage has been an incredible resource for our first floor renovation project... new floors, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, light kitchen remodel, new powder room, fireplace resurface, and new furniture. She carefully view lo ed the space, and advised us against getting a sectional. Instead, she recommended that we purchase a comfy yet small rounded backed chair, a hanging plant for above the chair, and a small round table to tie it in with the couch and the rest of the living room. To our surprise, her changes made a tremendous difference in how buyers were viewing our space! Our only regret is that we didn't ask her sooner!
