“Stephanie Malsed did an exceptional job on our vacation home in Telluride. We hired her as an interior decorator but she did far more than decorating -- she designed custom built-ins, figured out uses for awkward spaces, etc... She also served as our advocate during our house renovations process as both were occuring simultaneously. In terms of decorating, she gave us just enough choices in paint colors, fabrics, materials etc... but not too many to overwhelm us. Our house came out better than I ever could have imagined. Most remarkably, we were able to do this from afar -- and on time and within budget. I have a huge amount of respect for what she does and recommend her highly.”

“My wife and I used Elsa and Duna at Boheme to provide an interior design for a remodel on our 80’s Southwest ranch house. They did an amazing job and were able to create the exact style we were looking for. They bring a great deal of experience to Durango having so many ties to the community in addition to experience in a large design firm in New York and abroad. We wanted to do most of the work ourselves and they were flexible and accommodating. Their technology allowed us to see a realistic rendition of the completed design online and edit before starting the remodel. “I bought my home while under construction. I was under a tight deadline to make all my selections, within one week; kitchen & bathroom counter tops (granite); bathroom tiles including pattern layouts, flooring, paint colors, lighting, etc. Kim responded immediately & saved the day. I had all selections completed & ordered in one week, Her knowledge & ability to provide a wide range of resources for selections was invaluable. My style is very mixed & I'm not one for ordinary. Everything coordinated beautifully with my existing furniture. Once the house was completed she assisted with furniture placement, wall art etc. I couldn't be happier. Now the builder shows my home to potential clients. Kim continues to be my go-to designer for continuing projects as well.”
