“Although it wasn't our first home purchase, and we had some experience renovating before, when we bought a large old historic home in need of serious renovations, we were overwhelmed! The project included a master bathroom, girls bath, powder room and kitchen. We hired Alison as our designer and never looked back. This was our first time using a professional designer and we were so happy that we did. It was just such a joy working with Alison, and thats when we realized how important it is not only to find someone that could really bring your vision/style into reality, but also someone that you enjoy working with and that made the process easy, fun and approachable. She helped guide us through the process, gave us great ideas, really listened to what we wanted/were looking for, and ultimately got us to a final result that we loved. We highly recommend Alison as a designer and would hire her again in the future.”

“This was the second time I hired Sam Jernigan to assist me in remodeling and redecorating. The first was in 2012 with a Victorian cottage that was going to be a vacation rental. Having no experience with that era I needed help and Sam provided much more than that. She was amazing. And the house turned out completely charming and beautiful. So, when I was redoing the home I had just purchased after living there for 8 years as a renter, I called Sam again. And once again, she was really wonderful. She is hugely talented, has a wonderful sense of color and design, comes up with great ideas and suggestions based on the space, the structure, your personal style, and has just an intuitive sense of what will work. I used virtually all of her ideas for this latest project, and can only say that everything she suggested worked so well that I feel like I am living in a completely new house and without major remodeling. The house has been transformed by her strong sense of color and design. In addition, she is a pleasure to work with. And she takes the time to explain her suggestions from a professional design perspective in such a way that they make perfect sense. I would highly recommend her for any project.”

“Sam, made my bathroom remodel so easy! She brought over the samples with everything coordinated. Saved me hours and hours of trying to figure out what tile, flooring, vanity, etc., and then saved me from all the endless second-guessing that I would have done on my own. Problem solved! It was so easy to order everything I needed, and with her research and knowledge, she was able to save me quite a bit of money on some items.”

“I was skeptical at first to try yet another interior design team. We have tried 2 other well known teams in the Sacramento area and we were not happy at all with their style of work. Michelle and Anne took the time to learn our style, wants and expectations for the design of our new house. To say they exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. They were conscious of our budget and hit our style exactly. I can't thank you two enough for all that you have done to transform our house to a home. You have exceeded all our expectations. “I am presently working with Judy on my 4th house over a period of 15 years. Her design ideas and taste level are impeccable. She always listens to my vision and then helps steer me toward a great finished product. She was caring for her husband during his final illness during our current project and has still managed to deliver for me during a difficult time. One of the things that has always amazed me about her is her ability to memorize color and details. She remembers all of the details of the projects we have done over time without having to go to her archives. I love my current home and don’t plan on moving any time soon. However, if I do, one of the first calls I will make will be to Judy.”

I had seen her work on other homes in the area and knew instantly she had the style and attention to detail I need to bring a top dollar sale of my home. After seeing her work in my home, I felt she exceeded my expectations. And as I thought, the home sold in 3 days for over asking price to an executive at Facebook.
