“Jenn is a phenomenal designer! She does it all. She’s a great communicator, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Jenn was able to help me design our 3 bathrooms in about 6 weeks. From design concepts, product selection, scope writing, and everything in between she was able to help us realize the potential of our dream primary bathroom. Additionally, she helped us design an updated and fun powder room and budget friendly basement bathroom that we are thrilled with. Jenn helped us obtain 3 bids for our renovation and is currently helping us as a project manager on the job to ensure that our vision is seen through the entire renovation process. What I really like about Jenn is that she is a good listener. She was able to take the ideas I told her and pull it together into a cohesive design that needed only minor revisions. She allows the customer to lead with their ideas but is happy to provide her professional feedback when asked or needed. I can’t say enough about her and highly recommend Jenn. We are looking forward to her expertise once again when we decide to do our kitchen renovation.”

“Amelia Bennett of White Silo has made a positive difference for us in two projects. After 20+ years of having no real design plan in our beach house, she put together a plan that finally pulls the mismatched decor into a unified look. She did this within our small budget with window treatments and sofas that matched other furnishings and left us with a blueprint we can use going forward. When we started building a new home in Manteo, she was with us from the beginning using her construction/structural expertise to review floor plans, lighting, door/window placement, electrical, etc. She pointed out a number of areas up front that not only saved us money but significantly enhanced the look and value of our new home. From a design perspective, she helped us wade through the myriad of choices for paint and fixtures that has resulted in a distinctive look and feel. She advised us and found vendors for things like custom mirrors and window shutters and has advised us on indoor and outdoor furniture selections. Amy's technical and design expertise and her ability to work with contractors saved us again and again during construction. “My husband and I are clients of Amy Klebitz and are beyond excited to have her alongside us in the "transformation process" of our home. We are consulting with Amy on our (small) home (big) renovation project because she is practical, creative and efficient in getting our ideas into motion. We are currently in the designing phase with Amy and so far she has exceeded our every expectation. She is brilliant at taking our ideas, sketches, and magazine clippings and meshing them with the existing floor plan. Amy collected our ideas, took measurements of our home, and in 3 days gave us 3 design options to choose from. Amy is sensitive of our budget while not sacrificing all of our wants for our needs. She gives great attention to maximizing the functionality of our space, yet everything remains aesthetically pleasing to the eye. “Amy and her team from Urban Cottage designed my house from the ground up. She made many significant improvements from the initial design and the results were nothing short of spectacular. This is the third house I have done with her, but the first original construction project. She is now re-doing an older project and breathing new life into that as well. Everyone that walks in raves, raves, raves. Everywhere you look there is some other thoughtful detail. Our builder loved working with her, too. She worked hard to keep us on budget and literally worked around the clock to get us finished by deadline. Her shop is extremely popular as well....just can't say enough good things!”

She took the time to understand our vision of updating our family room and developed a tailored rendering that exceeded our expectations. We gave her our budget for the project, and the total came out to be well under our price point. She communicated with us throughout the entire process, letting us know of timelines and order updates. On Install Day, my husband and I were blown away when we saw our newly designed family room. It was everything we wanted and more! Her attention to detail from the placement of accessories to having champagne and truffles for us was unbelievable!
