“Not long ago I received a call to estimate finishing an entire basement. The framing for the rooms had already been put in place, but for the new homeowners, the current layout was not conducive for their plans to have an "in-law" living space for their basement. They inquired to have the space re-designed to have a single bedroom with a walk-in closet and adjacent bathroom, a large living room and kitchen combination. That's when I reached out to Clarice for her expertise. After having met with the homeowners and providing a very detailed proposal on a design that was not only functional and inviting, but also required just a modest modification to the current layout, with the homeowner approval, my work began. Needless to say, when the work was completed, the project exceeded the homeowner's expectations and they without question were very pleased to have hired Clarice for her design expertise. Clarice will always be my "go-to" when it comes to having another project requiring a specific design. She is very thorough and quality is of the utmost priority to her in achieving the final goal. “Constance, ("Connie"), was the leader of an outdoor porch addition to our home. It entailed architect designs, construction, selection of materials and professional companies to perform the varied aspects of the work. She did it all! She worked closely with the lead contractor to ensure correct and timely completion.The finished project is totally functional and beautiful. Best of all, it came in on time and budget. We also had her remodel a guest bath and redecorate a guest room. Connie arrives with an open mind and a hearing ear. She learns our likes and dislikes, our budget, "treasured items that must be kept" and special items to "work around." She returns with beautiful ideas, fabrics, pieces, and materials for us to select or decline. Her ideas are original and creative. She brings new life into a room. She personally makes sure that everything is right. Her workforce are professionals - true craftsmen who don't take shortcuts, are polite, and clean up when they leave.Her dedication to Interior Design carries through to her personal relationships. She truly loves and cares about her clients -many whom have become friends!”
