“If you're thinking about hiring Jan, just do it. She is the very best. I had to design and furnish my home in very short order. Jan worked with me on the style I wanted to achieve, worked hard to find appropriate furniture and accessories that were readily available, and made it all happen on my tight timeframe and within my budget. With regard to budget, Jan is completely open and transparent, and you will not have any unwanted surprises. My home looks beautiful and I could not have done it without Jan. On an interpersonal level, Jan is a pleasure to work with. Jan is pleasant and engaging, and made what seemed to be a daunting task into an enjoyable experience. Jan is also accessible and responsive, extremely task oriented, and gets things done in a timely fashion. I recommend Jan without any reservations whatsoever.”

“I have known Lori Buck for 10+ years. When I did a complete overhaul of my living room/dining room/kitchen/porch, she was with me every step of the way. From designing the rooms and spaces to picking out every last detail, Lori was confident, in tune with my lifestyle, open to all of my ideas and needs and so happy doing her job. My home is the way I want it, not the vision of a clueless designer. She picked paint colors, fabrics and furniture that, more then ten years later, are still elegant, functional and comfortable. My next project is the master bedroom/ bathroom/office. I cannot wait to get started with her. When you start an update or total renovation of your home, it should not be a burden or something you dread to face each day. It never was for me, not once. Each step was carefully taken and completed. You will not go wrong with Buck's Designs.”

“I have known Nancy for about 10 years and have provided custom woodworking for her personal homes, and for her clients, with project costs ranging from 1000 to 40,000. Nancy is comfortable working in any style, and has a firm handle on function and form. In my opinion she stands out in her ability to effectively communicate with all parties involved in a project and hence, eliminate nearly any potential mistakes or misunderstandings. She is a pleasure to work with (and work for) and her clients are never disappointed.”

“I have worked with Debra Geller both for my own home and on multiple multi-family buildings my family operates. She decorated our home, she helped design a 3,000 s/f furnished basement build out, she helped rebuild 4 building lobbies after Superstorm Sandy. She is professional, responsive, and has an attention to detail that eliminates problems before they arise. Her ability to identify a customer’s tastes, illustrate it in a way they can imagine it, they execute all while coming in on budget and on time is second to none. Can’t recommend her services enough.”

“I helm a women's networking group in New York City and host events monthly. The ladies of M&P Design Group designed the banner that sat at the end of the runway for a June fashion show. All sixteen women who were walking were 'role models' versus 'runway models.' All sixteen were South Asian, which is my brand, and all sixteen were employed in Science Technology Engineering or Math fields. I was making a statement about the jobs of the future, and highlighting the ladies who occupy them now. I asked Julia and Alex to come up with banner design which would serve as the backdrop of every photo taken. They collated all the symbols and designs from the event to-date and created the most stunning design for a runway backdrop. And turned it around in the time they indicated they would. I'm someone who is very focused and gets things done. I appreciate it so much when I find fellow lady entrepreneurs who share the same work ethic--and creativity!”
