“Jen of JKate Designs recently decorated our income property in Ortley Beach, NJ. She selected paint colors, furniture, accessories and created layouts. She was easy to work with and talk to about likes and dislikes. She worked within our budget and the entire process was smooth. This house was an interesting challenge, as she had to work around some existing decor/furniture, that maybe we both would not normally have selected on our own, but it came with the house and we did not want to get rid of it all. She selected items/colors so that together, the "old" and new have created a beautiful, timeless look.The outcome is stunning and we could not be happier! The property has been listed for rent for about 2 weeks and we already have 5 summer weeks rented. we are convinced it's the decor and could not have done it without her. We are looking forward to our next project together.”

Her ability to identify a customer’s tastes, illustrate it in a way they can imagine it, they execute all while coming in on budget and on time is second to none. “Our experience with Caryn Paradis was excellent from start to finish. We had an unfinished basement that we wanted to finish and didn't know where to begin. Caryn talked with us in detail about how we wanted to use our basement and then came up with plans that included all of our needs as well as ideas that we hadn't even considered but should have. She was able to design a space that incorporated areas for everyone in our family, including our young son--even a stage that could be pulled apart for use as couches when he becomes a teenager! Because we live in separate states, Caryn was able to do much of the work remotely with minimal visits to our home to take measurements, etc. She had finish samples sent directly to us quickly and walked us through the decision making process. She designed specific requests, such as a fireplace for my husband and a guest room/office area. Caryn paid attention not only to the aesthetics of the job, but also the practicalities, such as outlet placement and HVAC. She also included amenities such as a well-placed dorm fridge which will come in handy when our son is old enough to use the space as a hang-out with friends. All in all, the job was smooth, well-designed and surprisingly painless. Caryn listened to our needs and then exceeded them. We would recommend her without reservation.”

“Betty is one of the most talented, and creative professionals I've ever worked with. I hired Betty to design my Watermill home over 10 years ago. While Betty excels in all aspects of design - style, textures, scale, I found that more than any other designer I have seen, Betty shines when it comes to color. She can put together room after room where colors seem to effortlessly compliment one another. I am a type A person, and Betty was my match. While creative talents are essential in a designer, the best ones have what Betty has - a real business acumen. Betty was uber organized, methodical and every decision we made, had to make sense. I received my invoices with all pertinent information attached for future reordering and/or reference to paint colors, fabric brands, etc.. I interviewed many designers before we hired Betty, and I would say "look no further" Betty has and does it all. On a separate note, I've seen her play tennis, and you'd also be happy to have her couple as your doubles partner as well! Betty was a joy to work with. We had a lot of fun working together and I was beyond satisfied with the project.”

“I had a flood in my house and the whole 4,400 SF had to be gutted. I had to rebuild the whole house from scratch. I met Sue Kelly through word of mouth and when I met her, I was impressed by her professional and easy going demeanor. I knew this was going to be a long and arduous process, but Sue was very patient. Sue also has a keen eye for design and has a world of knowledge. She is also very meticulous about keeping up with the latest trends. We ended up doing 5 bathrooms (2 of which was entered into the Hamptons Design Competition), 5 Bedrooms, Kitchen, all flooring, color scheme, media room, trim work, window treatments, lighting, staging, etc., etc. The outcome was truly spectacular. Everyone that has seen the before and after could not believe it was the same house. Sue made this whole process easy and seamless. She is a delight to work with and I would recommend her to anyone.”
