“We have been delighted with RMD, with their designs and the transformations of a house into our home. We had originally created the floor space but struggled with how to finish it to realise its full potential and create a home that was right for us. RMD suggested themes, textures and colours that we would never have considered ourselves but that we really love. Presenting a number of options to better understand our preferences was a great part of the process – even merging some themes to get to the best result for us. It was a collaborative process throughout and once the team got to know us, the designs for further rooms were straightforward. RMD have achieved a warm and comfortable style balanced with practicality, flow and best use of space. We could not be happier. We would highly recommend Rachel and her team at RMD and will of course be using them again (very soon!)”

“It was a few years ago when he did this work for us but overall it was good work and I would recommend him to others. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted or even if it was a good idea but he was able to show me it could be done and would work well, so we went ahead with the conversion of the cellar. There were a few changes that had to made as it was going along (some of them us changing our minds and some the designs needing tweaking, but as I said it was some years ago and he was a bit new to this) but he was very practical and inventive about it and it all got completed within the budget, which he had warned us would be a bit narrow, but as we were doing a lot of the work ourselves that helped. He was able to source us some lovely coving from Germany and found us some matching brass wall sconces so it all worked well together and is still one of our favorite rooms.”

“My old bathroom was very dated and dark. I knew I wanted to remove the bath and replace it with a large walk in shower but couldn’t figure out how the space would work. Pete used the 3D room design to show me how the reimagined space would work and how the colour scheme would look. I wasn’t sure about how the mirror would look in next to the window but Pete encouraged me to try this innovative method and explained why it would work. It completely made the bathroom and creates lots of light. I’m so pleased with how the bathroom has looked. Thank You so much!”

“We purchased our house in 2010, an 1850 cottage mixed with a 1960's extension and knew we wanted to do some work on it but didn't know what to do. We met Simon through some friends and he came and had a look at the house and instantly 'got' our vision - even though I'm sure I did myself ! - but that is where Simon and Jacqui's skill comes in. They listen to the client and instinctively understand what it is you are trying to achieve, and then turn that vision into relaity. When we were presented with the mood boards that Simon prepares I just knew that the house was going to look fabtastic, and it does. Jessie was patient and professional at all times and went above and beyond the level of service that I would have expected. So in fact, I got great value for my budget. Jessie's quirky style helped me to think about different ways of looking at my space and I really valued her flexibility and creativity. Jessie is also a very good listener and she was able to translate my vision into a lovely practical and relaxing living environment.
