At our former house, she did a complete (and beautiful!) makeover of our master bedroom and a few changes (sofa, chair and mantel accessories) for our family room. When we decided to move and build a house in Charlotte, she helped us select paint colors, cabinet finishes and granite. When we were not able to find a vanity for our powder bath, she worked with a cabinet maker to design and custom build the perfect piece. She has also helped us with shutters. She is very talented. “Laura Nine makes dreams come true! When I bought my dream home, I was living in another state, quite a distance away. Therefore, I was unable to make trips to begin the decorating process and furnishings for my new home. I had decided not to bring any of my past furniture or other home decorations with me, as I wanted to start “new and fresh.” So I had nothing, not a bed or a chair to begin my new adventure. Then I discovered the best professional – Laura Nine. For example, my spa room is hand painted with a wraparound breath taking mural that brings the outside of the farm indoors. Laura brought the artist to me. Outside the spa room is a county herb garden that a master gardener designed through Laura’s suggestion. One of the many characteristics that Laura displays is that she is extremely considerate of being on a budget and works hard to uncover those elegant furnishings that are affordable to her clients. Given my busy schedule, I appreciated that she was always on time and extremely dependable and reliable. She often made trips to my farm and brought things to me to try, rather than me having to travel and see them at another place of business. Another unique characteristic that Laura brought to designing my dream home was customer service. She took the time that I needed and never once did she rush me. Her customer service made me feel like I was her special client. She treated me with respect and dignity. And she taught me how to slow down and enjoy my purchases before adding more. In my high pace world, she provided me an opportunity to “settle in” with each new purchase, How much I appreciated this guidance and advice.
