Benavides Design House turned our unfinished basement into a beautiful space complete with an art room for the kids, spare bedroom, entertainment room, pool table/game room and a wine cellar wall. They did renderings for us ahead of time so that we could really see what our space would look like. They sat down with us and made sure we were comfortable and got to know our style before they made recommendations. They were flexible enough to put up with our last minute change of heart on a few decisions. They were also very responsive to our calls and emails throughout the process. Plus when we first moved to the South Jersey area, we paid almost double the hourly fee for a designer so we consider BDH to be very competitively priced. “David worked with us on renovating the kitchen in our circa 1870 converted stable/carriage house. There were significant challenges including an immovable weight-bearing column and a large electrical panel located on one wall. His sense of design, form and function were spot-on. He did considerable leg work to find the perfect cabinet style and manufacturer and came up with solutions that improved the look and function of the room. Importantly, he always listened to us and worked well with our contractor. We couldn't have been more pleased!”

First, her initial visit to our home allowed for her to ascertain our style and preferences. She knew our personality in our home within the hour and took meticulous notes.
