“My husband and I hired Kirsten/Sustainable Home to help us with our home remodel last fall at the recommendation of our contractor. We liked that she was knowledgeable about environmental issues related to furnishing and designing a home, and we liked what we saw on her website. What we found in working with her was that, in addition to her "green" knowledge, Kirsten brought a lovely and professional personality to the process. She was friendly, flexible, full of good ideas, a good listener, honest, and good at discerning what my husband and I would like for our decor (in other words, she worked with our vision for the house rather than pushing her own agenda). We were working on a tight timeline, and she was able to pull the project together in time, with just a few non-essential odds and ends remaining that have since been completed. We were incredibly pleased with the results in our home. Choosing to work with her gave us a home we love being in, saved us untold hours of searching for different products on our own, and probably saved us a good bit of money, too, since she was able to focus and direct us. I have recommended her to other friends with pleasure.”

The incredible transformation all came together in good time and within budget. Sandra helped us to focus our time, money and energy on the things that truly made a difference in getting our home market-ready and bringing in top dollar. Everyone who saw our home loved it!! We had several offers on our home before it even came on the market. We owe it all to Sandra!! As if that weren't enough, Sandra is the sweetest, most caring person whom we could have ever asked for. “As a veteran of Silicon Valley, I have recognized that integrated platforms provide the best value for end users. What if a construction company could integrate the various disciplines associated with remodeling/new home construction into a platform like approach? Imagine having to deal with a separate architect, a separate 3D renderer, a separate interior designer, various showrooms where all care about their own individual services and products? As we look back at our experience with the Greenberg Design Gallery team together with the Greenberg Construction team; from the original concept stage, to budgeting, design, and implementation/cost trade-offs, to securing our permit, we have recognized that indeed the team at Greenberg have implemented a very efficient platform. The team is highly technical and uses state of the art architectural design tools to take their clients through the journey in a very timely manner. In fact, we believe the value we have received in the design to permit phase will eventually save us a considerable amount as we anticipate minimal changes during the build phase. Greenberg architected our new home vision in the first month, and by empowering us with their 3D modeling package, we were able to request modifications and fine tune our entire house in the ensuing two months. In parallel, we were visiting their showroom in Palo Alto (where they have a rich selection of material), and spent quality time with their interior designers to help us reach consensus on the majority of the type of finishes for our house. So in approximately three months we went from vision to design to permit and material type selection. Of course, the entire design and office team’s great attitude and genuine care ties all the loose ends. We highly recommend you visit Greenberg Design Gallery in person to assess for yourself.”

“I can not recommend KBG Design more! The ideas and knowledge that Katelyn has, for even the smallest projects, never ceases to amaze me. When it comes to putting a personal touch to a space, Katelyn is the best! We are redecorating a room to become a nursery and I wanted something glamorous but not too girly. Katelyn always comes up with something unexpected and encouraged me to look into wallpaper for, at least, one of the walls. I've always been hesitant to use wallpaper but, once I saw the choices she had chosen for me, I ended up doing more than one room! That is just one example, of many, where Katelyn has made my space more special than I could have ever imagined on my own. She is a joy to work with!”

“I hired this company because I needed help on changing the look of one of the rooms of my house. It is the first room you see when you enter the house. He saw what I had in the way of pictures and that there are a lot of Japanese artifacts in the room. What he came up with was a fresher look to go with my newly refinished hardwood floors. He was very professional and we completed the job in time for my company to come in the next week. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I come up with another project for them to help me with.”

“Working with Jen was the second best decision I made this year. The first was adopting a dog, which nothing can compare to (to be fair). It’s hard to express how wonderful it was to work with Jen. She redesigned my home to be more comfortable and inspiring than I could have imagined. I’ve lived in my apartment for six years, but it hasn’t felt like the home I’ve wanted until now. Jen helped me to realize what I wanted, and transformed my place from a bachelor pad to a lovely space for hosting friends and creating shared memories. She understood my aesthetic better than I understood it myself (warm, natural colors, wood, classic, masculine). She provided a range of options within, below, and slightly above my budget. She took care of everything from ordering to tracking to installation. Most important, she became a friend. She is such a lovely and supportive person. She genuinely cared and poured her heart into the work. Every guest I’ve hosted in the month since Jen completed the redesign has expressed their love for space, unprompted. Jen helped me to create, and then to realize a vision for my home: the place I work, dream, fall in love, and heal from heartbreak. My one regret is that I didn’t work with Jen sooner to create the home I always wanted. I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and I plan to in the future.”

“Priscilla was a fantastic partner for us as we went about designing the interior of our new home. She worked closely with us to understand our style but was also not shy about encouraging us to take risks and move in different directions. We never felt pressured and in the end our home completely reflects our tastes and preferences but in a way we would not have been able to pull off without Priscilla's keen eye, fashion sense, and encouragement.”
