“Missy is a color genius--I recently purchased a highly contemporary town house in North Montrose which, as expected, was very stark, edgy and white. Although the majority of my rooms remain this way (by design), I did need to add some interest in certain rooms using color whilst co-ordinating with the remainder of my contemporary furniture. Missy assisted me with color advice and selection in four separate areas: my bedroom, dining room, powder room, and office. In all cases, she spent a significant amount of time with me to understand my personality, and then assisted me with color selection, including gently guiding me (effectively by "giving me permission") to go with my personality and select a more "out there" color than I originally was thinking about. For my personality, she realized that I would feel most comfortable with a funky chocolate brown (one wall in dining area), funky orange (powder room), citriline (office), and a very muted gray/brown (master bedroom and bathroom). I am extremely pleased that she gently guided me in this direction, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. Thank you Missy!”

“I am a first time homeowner and I was at a loss about decorating. Houzz connected me with wonderful designer Flo Mangan and she’s been amazing! She has incredible talent and a keen eye for design. She helped me with the fabric for my "hand me down" occasion chairs and made them look like a million bucks! In fact, she is helping me with my whole house. She’s so quick to respond to all my questions. When I am out shopping and see something, I simply email her a photo and dimensions and she responds back in seconds. Now I am not constantly returning wrong things I buy or get stuck with something that can't be used. My home is now so chic. I think it can even be comparable to those homes featured on Houzz! Just take a look at the before and after photos for yourself! She gets excited with you about your projects like they are her own and most of all, she cares about you. She’s not about making money; she really wants to help people. She is so generous to share her talent like this with people in need. She needs to write a book: “Decorating 101 for Dummies”. Thank you Flo! I’m so grateful to you!”

“JoJo helped me select furniture for my formal living space. There were several things I wanted--a place for books and a desk, as well as seating. I was very happy with the way she helped me divide up the long room. She offered us 3 furniture options, and we picked the one that best matched our style. There was absolutely no pressure, but she did help us move the project forward and saved us time furniture shopping. If we'd tried to do it on our own, it would have taken ages, and we just don't have that kind of time, AND we would have ended up with furniture that would quickly look dated. The look she gave us was midcentury modern, and it goes great with our home. We are extremely happy with the final product and with her reasonable rates. There were no surprise expenses. We understood the costs at every step of the way, and JoJo kept everything within the budget and offered affordable options at every step.”

“Isabel loves to cook and it really shows when she designs a kitchen! She is full of very useful tips to make it practical in its daily use as well as stunning in its looks. Our case was particularly challenging because the room had an odd, non-rectangular shape. Isabel took all measurements and checked them over and over again to make sure she had the right shape. My wife and I put a lot of thoughts on finding an island shape that would flow with the rest of the room and couldn’t come up with a satisfying idea. When Isabel presented us her design, we immediately loved it. We knew straight off that it was how the island was meant to be! She was also very proactive in solving the challenges faced along the way by the general contractor and made sure everything was in line with the approved design. We now enjoy a 5-star chef kitchen every day and it is where we are spending most of our time when at the house. We remodeled 4 kitchens in the past 20 years and the one done by Isabel is by far the best work of all. I highly recommend her and strongly intend to use her services again for any work I have to do in the future!”
