“I initially contracted with Minhnuyet to provide interior design services for my living room and breakfast room several months ago, with an estimated budget in place. The rooms have a very unusual floor plan and required real creativity, especially given that she had to use furnishings that I already had. She rearranged my furniture and made two key additional purchases that created a spectacular look, and came in under budget. She located a vendor who is providing uniquely designed solar shades for our large windows to complete the transformation. As a result of the quality of her work, she is now designing a plan for the library, and our bedroom is next. I cannot recommend Minhnuyet highly enough!”

“My wife and I have been clients of Norwood Design for many years. There are several reasons why. Teresa has always taken the time to spend with us to understand what our use case for the work we want done. Going far beyond simply putting colors together or fabrics, Teresa continually brings new ideas to the table based on her conversations with us. My wife is a visual person who isn't always comfortable with change unless she can see it. Teresa brings many images with her in preparation for these meetings. This last project was a complete color change to the exterior of our home. Teresa's first meeting with us for was for 3hrs. She prepared several different palettes for us to begin working through. She walked us around our property to visualize the many options in shade and sunlight. Teresa makes it easy to tell her what we did and did not want or like. We went from a basic 2 color with black shutter to a rich 4 color palette that makes every architectural element stand out. Look forward to our next project.”

“Several years ago, I began using Jade O'Connor Designs to renovate the kitchen and family room of our home. These rooms still had 80's style colors -- peach, mauve, teal, wallpaper, wall to wall carpeting, etc. Jade took the time to understand my decorating style and she completely gutted and transformed these rooms into something I absolutely love. A couple of years later I moved on to the living room and dining room and, using her decorating knowledge and talented artistry, she transformed these rooms as well. I love coming home now! Fast forward to Spring of 2017. Jade and Graham Joyner married in the summer of 2016 and opened up Metal and Petal in November. I met with them several times to plan the renovation of our foyer and refurbish the guest bedroom into an office. The project is unfolding as I write this and it is running very smoothly and on time. Graham is professional, courteous and very well organized. He promptly arrives to let the subcontractors into the house and supervises all of the projects. He has years of building experience and actually completes some of the projects himself. Working with the two of them has been so easy and enjoyable. We are already talking about the next project!
