“I have had the pleasure of working with HTX Design Guy a few times and have continually been impressed by his knowledge and comportment. He is a consummate professional with a keen eye for design. One of our collaborations transformed a few rooms for a newly divorced client needing a fresh start. I was present for preliminary conversations and later involved with the install. HTX Design Guy listened to the client’s needs (including nonverbal cues) and almost effortlessly transformed her rooms into the oasis she desired. Intentional placement and personalization shifted the entire energy of her home. From planning to completion, HTX Design Guy respected her budget with considerate suggestions and flexibility. “Adeline was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable, hard-working and creative. I was 90% done with the purchase of furniture for my living room but hating how it was coming together. Adeline came in and rearranged things and pulled a couple of pieces from another part of my house and voila, I was beginning to love my room. She helped me finish that room and I worked with her on refreshing a couple of more rooms in my house. We purchased some new furniture as well as reupholstered pieces that we already have and we were very pleased with the results. Adeline does a great job with respecting budgets and utilizing pieces that you already own in new ways.”

“JoJo helped me select furniture for my formal living space. There were several things I wanted--a place for books and a desk, as well as seating. I was very happy with the way she helped me divide up the long room. She offered us 3 furniture options, and we picked the one that best matched our style. There was absolutely no pressure, but she did help us move the project forward and saved us time furniture shopping. If we'd tried to do it on our own, it would have taken ages, and we just don't have that kind of time, AND we would have ended up with furniture that would quickly look dated. The look she gave us was midcentury modern, and it goes great with our home. We are extremely happy with the final product and with her reasonable rates. There were no surprise expenses. We understood the costs at every step of the way, and JoJo kept everything within the budget and offered affordable options at every step.”

It was great to have an outside objective opinion, and she makes everything so easy by ordering, returning, and arranging all of the appointments & pick ups. “I am a first time homeowner and I was at a loss about decorating. Houzz connected me with wonderful designer Flo Mangan and she’s been amazing! She has incredible talent and a keen eye for design. She helped me with the fabric for my "hand me down" occasion chairs and made them look like a million bucks! In fact, she is helping me with my whole house. She’s so quick to respond to all my questions. When I am out shopping and see something, I simply email her a photo and dimensions and she responds back in seconds. Now I am not constantly returning wrong things I buy or get stuck with something that can't be used. My home is now so chic. I think it can even be comparable to those homes featured on Houzz! Just take a look at the before and after photos for yourself! She gets excited with you about your projects like they are her own and most of all, she cares about you. She’s not about making money; she really wants to help people. She is so generous to share her talent like this with people in need. She needs to write a book: “Decorating 101 for Dummies”. Thank you Flo! I’m so grateful to you!”

“Kara and my design team at The Design Firm were excellent. I appreciated all the hard work put in by everyone and I was very impressed by the extent they took to take care of our liking. Even when a few things did not work out, replacing the accessories was no problem. I am so so happy with the end result (especially the large painting). I highly recommend them and I look forward to working with them again!”

“My partner and I hired Oz to help us in the building phase of our new home. We are thrilled at what the Oz team has brought to the process. Oz has been there at every selection and has helped to make the process fun, fun, fun! Building a house should be a great adventure. Not only fun, but Oz has been attentive to keep us in budget but ready to go along for the ride when we choose to escalate things. The taste level is very on point. Creative, Brilliant, Intelligent (as you can tell, we are happy customers!). Oz also made key contributions to the layout of the house itself. And the Oz team has been a fantastic springboard to bounce ideas off--giving us confidence that we were not going to paths best left uncharted. We are nearing the end of the building phase and are transitioning into phase 2 (moving in, windows, furniture, and the like and are excited to employ the services of the Oz team once again!:)”
