“I worked with Lalor Interiors to update the lighting fixtures in my Charleston home. Meghan, the designer involved with my project, was a pleasure to work with - she was very knowledgeable without ever being condescending. The fixtures she selected have made a huge difference in my home's appearance. We replaced existing fixtures in the foyer, dining room, and breakfast area. We removed a ceiling fan and replaced that with a chandelier and also replaced 3 ceiling fans. Meghan coordinated everything beautifully and still stayed in my budget. She also was on site to deal with the installation. After updating the light fixtures Meghan helped with adding new decor and lamps. One of the main things Meghan helped me with was scale - left on my own I can see now that everything I selected would have been too small for my space. I look forward to working with Meghan and Lalor Interiors in the future - we are currently working on changing window treatments. The moment we saw her home, we knew that she was the one to help us with the interior design and selections for our new home as her taste in decor was better than any we had ever seen before. Denise was involved from the beginning of the project, working along side with our architect and builder. She assisted us with every step of the building process.... from selecting the tiles, stone and wood flooring, plumbing fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, countertops, paint colors to selecting furniture and accessories. Denise custom designed many aspects of our interior finishes to personalize our home for us such as the patterned walnut and Jerusalem stone floors, a mosaic tile floor pattern for our Master Bath, palm etched shower doors, onyx and iron sconces and chandelier , along with our wine cellar door with a " Y" worked into the metalwork to name a few. Her ability to choose the perfect materials, colors and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. She made the process a stress-free experience from day one. Denise found it easy to zero in on what we liked and did a fabulous job. All we ever had to say was ' Denise, you pick it and we will love it.' And we do...from the beautiful leathered granite countertops, the gorgeous lighting and furnishings to the breathtaking window treatments. We could thank Denise a million times for the wonderful job she did and it wouldn't be enough. Today, we look in awe at our new home and can say that we are proud to show it to family, friends and guests. We truly feel we have one of the most beautiful homes we have ever seen! She first came to look at my bedroom, take measurements, and listen to my ideas & needs for the space - then she drew up plans of several options, presented her ideas to me, and helped me in my selection. Leslie put together a private Pintrest board of all of the different pieces that could go together to make the design a reality. Once all of the necessary pieces were purchased and were ready to be put together, she came to my apartment along with her contractor and built out my space!
