“I hired Gamble Interior Design actually through associates that are in San Fransisco CA ,I called Jeni and she came down to Los Angeles to work on my 1927 Tudor revival, I was very interested in finding someone who would stay true to the era while modernizing my home at the same time. ,I was very impressed with her vision of the space and knowledge of the era and am extremely happy with her work! Phase 1 is complete ! Am am excited about starting phase 2 "the Kitchen" (yikes) ,at the end of the month, but I have to say I'm excited to see what inspiration she brings to the table !”

Was she adept at getting this information from you efficiently? A: Yes, she has been great in keeping our style and working within the constraints, we put on her. Specifically we asked her to do much of the work without requiring a ton of our time and letting us guide the results (we just had a baby). Q: Was she creative in approaching your design challenges? A: She came up with some really good ideas for tight spaces. She was good when we wanted to drop certain features, like master Tub and reusing old cabinets. She put her foot down and told us this would be a mistake in her opinion. I appreciated having someone opinionated rather than just telling us how great everything we chose was. Q: Was she easy to work with--responsive, timely, professional? A: Yes, most responsive person in this whole venture. Very accommodating and professional. Q: If she needed to work with your architect and contractor, were those relationships productive? A: Yes, she worked with the architect nicely. Q: Was she able to stick to your budget? Did she help you understand the cost-related trade-offs of your deign decisions? A: We went over budget because we ended up asking for more help than we anticipated. Yes, she was great working with our material costs and not pushing us to higher priced items. Ended up doing a bunch of Restoration Hardware and a few designer things. She also saved us a bunch of money on our tile. Came in 50% of the price of our builders tile guy. I generally thought designers were more $, but not in this case.”
