“I hired Craig Thompson (CSS-Tile) to do the following in my kitchen: Remove and replace existing laminate countertops with granite. Remove and replace existing tile backsplash with new tile backsplash. Install new sink and faucet. Enlarge the bar area. All the work was completely done beyond my expectations. Craig is a master at installing tile. His attention to detail was wonderful. He helped me in the selection of the tile, granite, sink and faucet. He was on-site when the granite was installed and made sure everything was done correctly. He built out the bar area with undermount supports that makes the bar seem to float with no obtrusive corbels. This was something I was unaware could be done and I know took longer to install than traditional supports. I'm grateful that he came up with that option. The project was completed on time and I'm extememly happy with the results.”

“We have used Mark for quite a few projects in the last year and a half. He was able to fix the mistakes another company had made in our master bath. They remodeled our master bedroom, re-did our ceilings in the living room and entryway with wood, crown molding, painting, tile work, texturing, etc. He just finshed a pantry project for us and hope to start a few new projects shortly. He has a crew that does exceptional work. They are very flexible and reliable. Highly recommended!”

“Jason came in gave me a quote and a time frame and showed up on time a worked on my bathroom. Showed up everyday when he said he would. If he ran into any type of problem, he would let me know and usually have a solution ready for me, which usually worked quite well. I hired him a second time to do some touch ups in the kitchen and he did a subperb job there as well. Will definitely recommend him to everyone I know.”

“Hill Country Building & Renovations price is reasonable, but the way it works is that Calvin requires the home owner to purchase all of the visible parts, and have them on the premises PRIOR to his arrival (tile, faucets, grout, paint etc.) to start work. He lets the homeowner how much of each product the owner has to purchase which helps a lot. By having all the stuff on site Calvin had my master bathroom was done in 2 weeks. (Only the stain on the cabinets did not dry in a timely fashion.) When the project is about to begin he negotiates with the home owner where the messy work with tile and wood should place to minimize dust. As the project is progressing he is good about returning telephone calls or texts because he truly wants to know any dislikes or concerns early on so that corrections can be made. He is ethical in his workmanship. When the old shower and tub were pulled out, there was wood rot, old termite damage, and mildew that had to be removed in some of the supporting structure. He coordinated with the representative from our termite company who had to apply a treatment into the ground where the new shower drain pipes would eventually go. We were grateful that the repairs for the rot set us back only an additional $500.00. He took the time and treated the old and new wood in place with treatment to prevent future mildew and added hardiplank and sealant so that water from the shower would never enter the wall again. When the stain had not dried on our bathroom cabinets within 2-3 days he brought a dehumidifier that day in order to speed up the drying. It ultimately took an additional week for the stain to dry. (Needless to say, he did not use that brand of stain on the kitchen project.) Finally, when I had questions on which type of paint or tile to use in a particular location, he had good answers based on experience. I gave him "artistic license" to create designs which was a good move. He then could turn a plain design to a very nice design. When the master bathroom was done, it was beautiful and ready to show. I did learn that he can forget a few little things. Therefore, if the homeowner has things that he does not want Calvin to discard, or which will be part of the touch-up list later on, then it's best for home owner needs to write those things down. Then he will complete them. His estimate covers not only his labor, but also the things one does not see, the plumbing pipes, the glues, etc. He could have nickeled and dimed us for every additional component of the job that was specified in the original contract. Instead he believes it is just part of the quality of his work. Would I use his services again? Absolutely!”

“Scott, Wendy and Kevin were outstanding to work with on the total interior remodel of one home. We added additional rooms/projects to our original plans, and those were completed with no issues. Kevin and Alex also did an excellent job with all of the painting and detailed work throughout the kitchen and living area project - complete cabinet rebuilds, new appliances and sink/plumbing installations, additional detailed painting, additional rooms added. Other contractors for quartz countertops demolition/upgrade installations and flooring were managed extremely well. We added a complete stairway and upstairs room upgrade. Outstanding project management and workmanship. On top of this major project, an emergency water issue occurred at another house between Christmas and New Year's Day. I phoned four contractors regarding plumbing, masonry/concrete/mortar and had no success due to the Holiday week timing and the 12F temperature. Then, at the last minute I thought to call White Box Remodeling to see if they could do anything. I do not know how Scott was able to pull it all together so quickly, but within 48 hours, all of the plumbing and exterior masonry was torn away and completely repaired. I highly recommend White Box Remodeling. Terry Greene”

“So this is the second time we have used Shower Doors of Austin - the first experience was so good that when we sold our home and built a new one, we chose to use them again. This time, we had 2 shower doors made and installed to finish out our bathrooms. The satin etched glass we chose is beautiful and just the right amount of privacy! Same as before - everyone we worked with from start to finish was professional, totally clear about process/prices/choices, and made the purchase super easy. The good folks working with this company seem to have figured out the "under-promise and over-deliver" golden rule of good customer service! “This was an unexpected great experience. James Wright and his wife were wonderful to work with. They added a roof and backyard space to my house that we have enjoyed for several years. Their workers were wonderful and very professional. They cleaned up their space every day. The worked very hard and did a superb job. They prepared us so well before hand about the price, construction, the plan(they made a great plan so we could see exactly what it would look like before they did any work). We appreciated them so much. They were easy to talk to, did exactly what I wanted, all of the work was done on time. So beautifully done. I cannot say enough good things about this company and would recommend them to anyone for any job.”
