“After purchasing our new home we wanted to modernize the house since it was still stuck in the in the 50's. We did not know where to start and after a lot of research we were referred to Spazio La by a friend that did their entire house with them. We didn't know what to expect, after 10 minutes of our first meeting I was in love with their ideas and suggestions to improve the layout and finishes of our new kitchen, master bathroom and guest bathroom. They were very professional and spent almost 4 hours with us showing us their beautiful designs and projects from previous clients. We decided to hire them and we are so happy that we did. They came up with an amazing 3D concept design for each space that we wanted to remodel. They managed the project from the contractor to the finish materials and with the final decoration of the home. Our house looks amazing and our kitchen is, now, huge and has an island to die for. They recommended a Calcutta quartz material that makes the kitchen look like a showpiece from a designer showroom. Our master bathroom is like a high end spa at a five star hotel. We are really thankful to the team from Spazio La for making our home an amazing place for our family.”

“I contacted this business because they had a nice showroom that was local to my community. My expectation was that they'd be more expensive than others, but I thought it worth the time to give a locally owned shop a shot at my business. I was looking to do a full kitchen re-do and received multiple bids for the work. This included cabinets, floors, appliances, plumbing, etc, etc. I worked with Joanne in the showroom to design the space and then got an all-inclusive bid from PKB. I worked closely with Rich on the bid and final specs as well. This was not my first construction project, so I was fastidious about the bid and both Joanne and Rich were very patient with me. When I got the bid back, I was encouraged by the final price. Of course I was also concerned about out of budget issues that might come up even though both Rich and Joanne assured me thats not the way they worked. I was told the project could take 8-12 weeks, which I assumed meant 12, and I was pleasantly surprised that as the project approached completion, it only took 9 weeks for the full kitchen, which also included the New Year's week. Not only did the project come in on-time, but it wasn't one penny over budget either. There were no, "we didn't know..." or "now that the wall is opened up..." surprises. On time and on budget is something a new concept for me when dealing with contractors, so thanks PKB. On top of that, the kitchen looks spectacular. And for those items that I had to acquire on my own, i.e. appliances and tile, Rich got me his contractors discount and even haggled on my behalf. It has been an absolute pleasure working with PKB and I'd recommend them to anyone.”

“My kitchen transformed from an 80th kitchen with brown and dated cabinets to a modern chic kitchen with an elegant look in which I wanted to accomplished for awhile. from conceptual stage to completion, I was well attended by the wonderful team and project manager/ designer. At the conceptual stage, I was assitend by the designer for all material selecting and purchasing, color coordinating and other decision making. Throughout the construction I have received daily updates as to what is next, my house kept clean, and all my questions were addressed right away. Now I get to enjoy my beautiful kitchen. “We have worked with Flat Rate before. It was on a project to expand the back of our house. This included a new laundry room, bathroom and a lovely new large bedroom. We are very happy with the work that they did. It has been two years now. The work was excellent. The work was done in a timely manner and they finished before the dead line. The cost was above average but the quality of the work was well worth it. The attention from the project manager to detail was excellent and we felt that we had the companies full attention. They still are willing to come and fix anything that we might see come up to fix. This last project is a little different. It is a little smaller project. We had Flat Rate remodel our existing bathroom. Again the bathroom is lovely and we are very happy with it. But we had some bumps and delays along the way. We do feel that the project manger could have checked in more often and the foreseeing of ordering supplies and having them on hand to finish different stages of the project could have been better. The work did not finished by the deadline that I wanted and finished two day past the contract deadline. Flat Rate tried their best to make up for the delays by sending workers to the house on weekends after some persistent phone calls. Everyone at Flat Rate's customer service is very nice and ben's over backward to help. Two thumbs up to Leslie. Over all would strongly recommend Flat Rate for bigger projects.”

“First of all i am not one to review but due to this experience i must. I heard about Novak remodeling on line and I made an appointment to meet with them regarding remodeling my porch. Adam came by and I felt comfortable with him right away. He was one of three contractors that arrived and he definitely was the most professional one. I called him back after I met with all three to do the work for us. We started with the planning process because we needed plans to enlarge my front porch. Unfortunately the city setback didn't let us do what we wanted. Adam was gentle enough to explain the situation for us and told us he will cancel the contract and we won't have to pay for any work that has been done since I will not be getting what I wanted. Even though a design team and an engineer arrived. You could tell he cares and really loves making people happy. Right away we signed a new contract. I had a feeling I could trust him and especially after I had such a horrible experience with my bathroom remodeling I was looking for the right contractor. We replaced all 15 Windows in my house, painted the entire house with cool life which is this heat reflective coating that is energy efficient. He also added iron railing for my side door and front door with a beautiful design. The job was done in a timely manner, he is very professional, and he is beyond courteous. I highly recommend Adam and Novak Remodeling to anyone who wants to do anything in the home. Truly a great company that delivered a great experience.”
