“They were brought in to renovate our kitchen but uncovered several other issues caused by the snow in 07/08. After a survey by an engineers, they set to work on the remedial action and completed this to a very high standard according to the engineer's sign off inspection. Our kitchen can be seen on the photos and is praised by all who visit us. Our confidence in Pro Valley was such that they went on to : - rebuild a wonderful deck - renovate the ensuite and main bathrooms - install new windows and front door All done to our satisfaction to the extent that we have recommended them to friends.”

“Emma and her entire Grassroots Design & Build team provide an incredible product at competitive pricing without any of the BS. While I have not (yet) hired Grassroots to work on my own home, I have now photographed over a dozen projects by them varying in scope and scale. From accent furniture in a sitting room to a complete rebuild of a kitchen and bathroom, I've found Emma's taste to be one of classic beauty. Not everyone lives in an ultra-modern clean home, not everyone has the budget to re-construct their entire house. Emma comes in with her team and re-builds what is required preserving the feel and taste of the home and owner at any budget. I've seen kitchens using Ikea cabinets with very classy design touches to stay on budget, or a fully-outfitted bathroom with no expense spared. A contractor and designer in-one, I've found her work to be thorough and well executed from concept to finished product. If you have an old home, or just a new one that needs a touch of class, I would recommend Grassroots for this work.”

“We hired Distinctive Kitchens and Baths (DKB) to design and install a new shower for our ensuite in our new home. The builder had originally installed a small, basic corner shower and we were looking for other options. DKB visited our home, took measurements, offered us options and prepared a written quote the listed all the tasks and materials required to complete the job. The job required the removal of the old shower and the bulkhead that was above it, moving the plumbing in the floor and wall to accommodate the new shower, installing a knee wall, cement board, shower base, tiling, plumbing fixtures, and new customize shower surround. The project also required that the ceiling be repaired as a result of removing the angled bulkhead. DKB sent in all the different trades to handle each job. All the trades laid down floor covers to protect our homes and all were professional, courteous and very friendly. Every day DKB dropped by our home to ensure that everything was going well and to answer any questions that we may have. The project was delivered on time and on budget.”

“Colin and Craig renovated our previous home's kitchen and bathrooms. We were very happy with their work. When we moved a few years later, we contracted them again. They have renovated our three bathrooms and our laundry room. We will be contracting them again when it comes time to do the kitchen in the new house. Colin does the planning work, he's creative, thoughtful, and patient. He listens to us, understands what we want and does his best to create a design that meets our needs within the parameters of what is practical. Craig and his crew (Josh, Fred and Kevin) all do excellent work. They are careful, contentious and tidy. Every job has it's hiccups, but Craig does his best to explain what our options are and offers practical solutions. His years of experience really show through. I cannot recommend these guys more highly.”
