“We have a 50 year old house that had a very small kitchen in the front of the house. We have 2 acres and wanted to see the beautiful back yard. Melissa Sutherland knew exactly what we wanted, to see the view out back. From the beginning to the end we were never disappointed. From the barrel ceiling with the faux finishes on the recess cans to the stove hood that looks like it came straight from France, I'm a very pleased customer! Then where the kitchen was in front, we changed into a den we all hang out in. Along with the kitchen, we enlarged the patio and added a screened-in gazebo so my husband can smoke his cigars and I don't get eaten alive by the mosquito's. We love the look of our updated home. She found tile for our staircase and upstairs floor into the master bathroom. The design of this tile is an endless source of joy to me and my husband and gets many compliments from guests. She chose paint for all our walls, rugs, furniture, art objects, frames -- our home is very non-traditional.
