“BRJ recently finished renovating our kitchen as well as removing a vinyl sunroom and replacing it with a stickbuilt structure. We cannot say enough good things about the entire project start to finish. Our kitchen is now a dream come true, both functional and beautiful. Our sunroom is better than we could have imagined.
First and foremost, the crew and sub-contractors at BRJ Builders were not only highly skilled but also incredibly kind and respectful. It was evident that they genuinely cared about the work they were doing and ensuring that we were satisfied every step of the way. I'm a teacher and therefore, was often home before their work for the day was complete. Every single person who came to work treated my home as if it were their own and me with the utmost respect. We loved getting to know the crew and while I'm happy to have a complete project, I'll admit we missed them when they left.
Additionally, I was consistently impressed by how tidy the crew left our house each day. Despite the inevitable chaos that comes with a construction project, they took great care to clean up after themselves, leaving our space organized and livable. It made a significant difference in maintaining our peace of mind throughout the renovation process. My dog and children were still able to play and live and I didn't spend my time worried.
Most importantly, the finished project exceeded all of our expectations. The attention to detail and craftsmanship demonstrated by BRJ Builders was truly remarkable. Every aspect of the renovation was meticulously executed, resulting in a beautifully finished space that we are proud to call our own. I have essentially become a walking salesman for BRJ, happily handing out Ben's contact information to anyone who might have a project in mind.

“After interviewing two other kitchen designers, I surprised myself by selecting this "big box" store. The design staff here LISTENED before offering suggestions and respected what I wanted. They visited my home to get accurate measurements and ever after were also respectful of the beautiful old space I was remodeling.
I was further surprised to learn that what you see in the store is not all that you can get. It turns out they can source almost anything -- and usually at a far better price than you would get it on your own. When they can't get what you really, really want -- they say so, and you are free to get yourself.
I consistently checked product prices against the same product elsewhere and found Lowe's usually significantly reduced in price. On one occasion, I found something I wanted online, called the manufacturer to get a price and a local dealer, and was told there were three in the warehouse and they could have it here in three days of receiving an order from a dealer. Lowe's was one of the two dealers and their price as half what the other dealer would have charged.
I loved being in the store for the design process, where I could make informed decisions on the spot.. I could walk into another department, see and touch the options, and compare quality and cost tradeoffs right there is the store. While everything was a special order, not what they actually carried in the store, there was a someone there who knew which quality level I was considering, show me examples on the floor. Then I could walk back to the design department and someone would plug the choices into the computer drawing so I could "see" how choices would fit in. Planning a new kitchen entails such an overwhelming number of decisions -- being able to make at least some of them all in one place helped me keep my sanity.
Finally, and most importantly, I have to talk about the store management. Were there problems? Of course. The way the store manager handled them was a lesson in customer satisfaction. The manager and the employees there have earned my respect and my continued business.”
