“Darek Janczy of DJ Construction recently completed a comprehensive remodel of my 2,433 sqft house in Pacific Grove. The project included replacing all windows, flooring, and doors; removing 1970’s “popcorn” ceilings; installing overhead LED lighting in all rooms; expanding the outdoor deck; knocking down old walls and building new ones; reconfiguring the front entry; replacing all fixtures; repainting the exterior and interior; strengthening the foundation; and creating a stunning new open kitchen with a 10-foot island. Striving for perfection and demonstrating his strong work ethic, Darek always went the extra mile. Over the years I have worked with many contractors on both new builds and remodels, but Darek stands out from all the rest. Sam took me to work sites, and had me meeting designer Shon, on phone with his manager, Idan. The team works very well together. I like that.
