“We just completed having VA Renovations complete 3 projects in our home. A small one (replacing a toilet), a medium sized one (adding end panels to our kitchen cabinets) and a large one (a hall bathroom remodel.) I can honestly say, that the performance of the team was excellent on all three types of projects. One differentiator was that in our initial project planning session, Geoffrey listened to what we wanted done and provided excellent ideas that would help us get as close to what we wanted but stay within a reasonable budget. My eyes are always bigger than my budget on these projects. I was also very impressed to be asked what was most important to me in a contractor. Of course, all things are important but he was interested in knowing what I cared most about so that his team could be sure to deliver. I was given the opportunity to explain that our schedules are difficult between two jobs and caring for our disabled son and that communication about when people were coming was critical to us. They definitely delivered on good communication. One way they did this was by building a relationship between us and the foreman and using technology to keep communication open. There was an introductory phone call with the job foreman and the owner before we started and then a group text between Geoffrey, the owner, our foreman and us that we used throughout the project. These things are not about the quality of work but more the quality of the process which was terrific. All that said, the quality of the work was also top notch. The crew that showed up did an excellent job and was very flexible to ensure we got a great result. Once work was done, we had the opportunity to do a final list and the few items were addressed promptly to ensure we were completely happy with the work. We could not be happier with the work and will definitely be using VA Renovations on our next project.”
