“Mary Anne helped me stage my last house before putting it on the market and also chose the paint colors for my current home. She has a great sense of color. Not just what looks good, but what’s appropriate for the space. Initially, I chose a bright color to highlight one wall in my sunroom- until she reminded me that what I really cherished was the room’s calm, sanctuary feel. A bright color would have ruined that and clashed with the furniture. The cocoa color picked for the powder room really “finished” a space that I originally planned to renovate. And I am thrilled with the gray/green she chose for the living room. I won’t even attempt to pick a paint color without her assistance. Or color schemes for carpeting, furniture, etc. She’s the best!”

“We were first time homebuilders in the summer of 2013. Our contractor recommended dealing with Dave Allerton and Kitchen Express II for our kitchen and bathroom designs, cabinetry and countertops. We met frequently with Dave as we explored various alternatives, often changing our outlook after Dave recommended changes to make the open architecture kitchen and dining area more accommodating to our needs. He was accessible and always willing to work within our expressed preferences, but he was not afraid to steer us to consider different approaches when he thought the end result would appeal to us. In other words, he soon came to know us and our thinking well. Our construction timetable was a quick one, and Dave and his crew delivered on time. Dave and his company also repped various lines of kitchen appliances, and although we originally scoped out other alternatives as recommended by our contractor, we ended up going with Kitchen Express as we sought greater efficiency in the construction and installation process. Allison Caves, a certified kitchen planner, came to our home and asked all sorts of questions such as "How tall are you?, Are you left or right-handed?, What do you love/hate about your current kitchen?, etc." Allison designed a custom kitchen that exceeded our every expectation. Jeffrey Caves, the Cabinetmaker, meticulously selected and cured the wood that would result in the highest quality cabinetry I have ever seen, bar none. I would highly recommend Caves Kitchens for custom cabinetry. Caves also offers a high-quality semi-custom line, which was very nice, but once we saw Jeffrey's work, we opted to go completely custom.”

“Four Points Remodeling did a great job on a kitchen remodel for my home. Design and Proposal Process They supported the initial design process during the estimation process. It was a very collaborative process. They had great ideas about maximizing the use of our space to build upon my original framework of ideas. They brought to the table experienced ideas - things I as a first time renovator would not have thought of. They took the time to understand our needs and wants and our target budget. It was a very positive and constructive process. Refining Design Once we committed to working with Four Points Remodeling, we further refined the design plan. Again, a very collaborative process. And they were very patient - took the time to explain whatever was needed. Let us take the time to think through decisions. And while finishes and material selections were up to us as the consumer, they were very supportive through those steps as well. Execution They set and met the expected timeline. Craftsmanship was good. Any small issues I had were addressed immediately and to my satisfaction. The work required gutting the kitchen, opening a wall to an adjoining room to build counter seating on the other side, opening another doorway wider, removing soffits, moving stove and exhaust placement and then rebuilding the kitchen floor to ceiling. It was completed in just over 5 weeks! They were sensitive to our family needs during that time - and set up a temporary sink in the kitchen for part of the construction phase. As well helped move the refrigerator into another area of the home. They were neat - cleaned up every day after the project. Summary We LOVE our new kitchen and are glad we chose Four Points Remodeling to perform the work. Can't wait to work with them again in the future on our bathrooms.”
