“We have had several remodelling projects done by Imagine interior Decorating over the past five years, including living, dining, family, laundry, bathroom, and bedrooms. Each time we were impressed with the quality of the renovation and the courteous and helpful manner in which it was conducted.
We did not know where to start for the work seemed to be overwhelming with several trades involved. However, Roger easily developed design solutions, advised on decor ideas and explained any pros and cons. Options were always presented with our preferences in mind.
Roger’s knowledge of materials, along with his relationship with trade specialists (electricians, plumbers) simplified the process for us. Roger coordinated the work of any specialists, providing a much-appreciated one-stop shop. His strong sense of decor proved most helpful in taking us shopping for flooring tiles and hardwood, lighting, furniture and window treatments.
Imagine Interior Decorating dedicated their time to us until the job was completed. We were very pleased with beautiful improvements to our home which were delivered on time and on budget.

“We hired Distinctive Kitchens and Baths (DKB) to design and install a new shower for our ensuite in our new home. The builder had originally installed a small, basic corner shower and we were looking for other options.
DKB visited our home, took measurements, offered us options and prepared a written quote the listed all the tasks and materials required to complete the job.
The job required the removal of the old shower and the bulkhead that was above it, moving the plumbing in the floor and wall to accommodate the new shower, installing a knee wall, cement board, shower base, tiling, plumbing fixtures, and new customize shower surround. The project also required that the ceiling be repaired as a result of removing the angled bulkhead.
DKB sent in all the different trades to handle each job. All the trades laid down floor covers to protect our homes and all were professional, courteous and very friendly. Every day DKB dropped by our home to ensure that everything was going well and to answer any questions that we may have.
The project was delivered on time and on budget.”

“Manotick Kitchen and Bath was contracted to completely remodel the master living quarters and kitchen.
Custom cabinetry and design which involved moved walls, windows, doorways , custom flooring and elaborate millwork and extravagant fixtures were provided.
The MKB team did an exemplary job on this major renovation which exceeded the original timeline by just a week. This in itself was most welcomed given the number of design changes we requested mid project.

“Emma and her entire Grassroots Design & Build team provide an incredible product at competitive pricing without any of the BS. While I have not (yet) hired Grassroots to work on my own home, I have now photographed over a dozen projects by them varying in scope and scale. From accent furniture in a sitting room to a complete rebuild of a kitchen and bathroom, I've found Emma's taste to be one of classic beauty.
Not everyone lives in an ultra-modern clean home, not everyone has the budget to re-construct their entire house. Emma comes in with her team and re-builds what is required preserving the feel and taste of the home and owner at any budget. I've seen kitchens using Ikea cabinets with very classy design touches to stay on budget, or a fully-outfitted bathroom with no expense spared. A contractor and designer in-one, I've found her work to be thorough and well executed from concept to finished product. If you have an old home, or just a new one that needs a touch of class, I would recommend Grassroots for this work.”

“Colin and Craig renovated our previous home's kitchen and bathrooms. We were very happy with their work. When we moved a few years later, we contracted them again. They have renovated our three bathrooms and our laundry room. We will be contracting them again when it comes time to do the kitchen in the new house.
Colin does the planning work, he's creative, thoughtful, and patient. He listens to us, understands what we want and does his best to create a design that meets our needs within the parameters of what is practical.
Craig and his crew (Josh, Fred and Kevin) all do excellent work. They are careful, contentious and tidy. Every job has it's hiccups, but Craig does his best to explain what our options are and offers practical solutions. His years of experience really show through.
