The fence was installed perfectly with excellent craftsmanship. He is very responsive, professional, and does quality work! “We hired Renaissance Man (Thomas Koch) to redo two bathrooms and cosmetic work to other parts of the house. He personally took my call immediately and came out the same day to give an estimate. His demeanor at the first meeting was one of honesty, intelligence and a man who treats his business like the German craftsman he is. His estimate was broken down, item by item and room by room. What I particularly loved was while he would estimate what particular items might cost us, he only charges for labor to install. ABSOLUTELY NO MARKUP on anything from electrical fixtures, tiles, vanities, sinks, etc. No hidden costs at all. Not many contractors will do that! So —- onto the work: he started on the date we asked him to and never left the project until finished to our satisfaction. It took about 3 weeks to finish everything which was exactly what Thomas told me at the beginning. I have a home office so every day the various trades came and went, getting here at exactly 9:00 am and leaving at exactly 5:00 pm. Like clockwork - a well machined German clock, that is. As with any construction project, there were some unforeseen things (like a vent stack running through a wall we wanted to take out, some electrical issues that involved old wiring and an odd dimensioned closet that required custom folding doors) but other than that, everything went to plan and came together beautifully. Thomas came every single afternoon to inspect the day’s work. I recommend him very, very highly!”
