“After vetting several candidates, we chose A&E Kitchen Design to do the remodeling of our kitchen. We couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. During the design phase, owner Doug Gonsalves offered a number of suggestions which improved our original concept. With respect to the actual remodel, Doug assembled a team of subcontractors who did the tearout of the old kitchen, installation of the new cabinets, the new countertops, the electrical work, the plumbing work, and the drywall work. Each subcontractor did an excellent job and throughout the entire process, Doug was very visible and hands on making sure we were pleased with each phase of the work. As with any job of this size, there were several minor issues which were promptly and completely resolved. Had it not been for several additions we made to the original scope of work, the job would have been within the estimated cost. “We had some hardwood flooring buckle in a bedroom adjacent to a bathroom and asked Rebuilders, Inc. to investigate. The crew investigated systematically and meticulously until the root cause was determined. They worked diligently for 2 weeks so our tenants could move in on the date we had promised. They caulked a shower (and installed other preventative measures to prevent leaking), reset a leaking toilet and replaced the hardwood flooring. They even painted the trim after it was re-installed to ensure continuity. You cannot even tell there was ever and issue in either room! Each and every individual that was on site was very professional and knowledgeable in their respective area of expertise. Mr. Floyd is a man who stands behind his work and we would highly recommend their services.”

“A friend recommended this firm. They are largely a one-stop shop. The store has displays and samples. The owner will sat down with me, visited the site and create a drawing of the bathroom (or kitchen). The projects budget was reviewed and a contract drawn up. Then I worked with a designer and picked out tile, accent tile, cabinet and countertop material. I found out that choosing an item in a showroom does not mean it is available. Also, I found out that just because everything "looks good" doesn't mean it is. My husband is better a checking details and its a good thing, I didn't even notice the medicine cabinet couldn't open because the faucet was blocking it. The workers were very laid back about such problems, probably because they could fix them. (The cabinet was quickly adjusted). So PAY ATTENTION and don't be afraid to point out a problem- it took awhile but everything is perfect. I will say that the project started in the last days of October and the final details were just fixed up in January. The bathroom was basically ready in the six weeks that they estimated.”
