“Ktichen renovation. First experience with remodeling. The Hahka team were professional and supportive. Designer Linda Billings was extremely accessible and helpful. Her suggestion to incorporate an island with the character of furniture is the statement piece that adds the "wow" factor to our kitchen. General contractor Randy Hahka very clearly has a personal interest in quality work. He strongly lobbied for the replacement of louvered pantry and laundry doors with doors that more closely matched the new cabinetry-although more costly, this was definitely the right decision from a design perspective. The construction team were skillful, friendly, honest and easy to work with. We did have a few whoopsies, but I understand this is par for the course with renovation projects and at the end, nothing was left unresolved. The team very clearly made great efforts to provide customer satisfaction. Job was not completed on time, mainly due to issues with pantry/laundry doors. Very happy with the results of our project.”

“This is our third time using Castle Construction to make upgrades to our condo; we've had our kitchen remodeled and two bathrooms upgraded using Castle Construction. Jason Tapia is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the project and his reliability and honesty make doing business with his company a real pleasure. The subcontractors working for him are friendly, trustworthy individuals, so you don't have to worry about them working in your home. Castle Construction provides high quality work at a reasonable price. Jason takes every effort to clearly explain the process and procedures and vets out all possible options so you can make informed decisions. He's also flexible with schedule changes, and although he can get quite booked, he's well worth the wait. I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for an honest, reliable contractor who knows what they're doing and will deliver on his promises.”

“Hilary was able to accomplish in a reasonably short amount of time what we had been struggling with for ten years. She saw our limited wall space in a larger open area, oddly positioned fireplace, rug inset, and other challenges not as the insurmountable design challenges that had left us tired and overwhelmed. Rolling up her sleeves, she engaged her creative talents all the while assessing our preferences, budget and tolerance for the process. We recommend her very enthusiastically. She will work hard and creatively to achieve your goals.”

“Mike and Gillian Amery of The Kitchen Company are just the best! We started with a kitchen remodel and by the end had done almost the entire house! Gillian is so easy to work with, her designs are fresh, creative and inspired. She listens to the client and designs with that in mind. We have an old house with small and unusual spaces. Gillian was the only one who was able to create a plan incorporating all the space in a functional and practical manner. Mike is the construction end and runs a tight ship! The project went so smoothly that we kept adding things and were still completely finished in 2 months. The sub contractors Mike employs are professional, courteous and experts in their respective fields. We had complete piece of mind letting The Kitchen Company handle every aspect of the project from original city permitting to design through to construction and completion. We couldn't be happier with the way our home turned out and I will definitely be using them for every project in the future!”

“I was all set with cabinets that I had chosen from another source when I came to Hayward's to look at tile samples and looked at her sample cabinets on display. It became very evident to me that Katie has the knowledge to find me cabinets and help me design a kitchen that I really loved, not just a functional kitchen. Katie was very knowledgeable about kitchen design and willing to help me through the process. She opened my eyes to possibilities for making my small kitchen unique. Katie followed through and communicated with me in all aspects of the process and gave me great suggestions for color and materials in choosing my countertops and backsplash as well. I found her resources and contractors that she works with to be just as top notch as well.”

“These guys all ways give us great quotes on our lumber, very prompt at delivering it, and they have been really easy to work with. and even though there down the street from Home depot, they do have a better selection of all the little parts and pieces that are needed at times. If you need some odd piece of hardware they pretty good about locating and getting it here quickly.”
