Arthur was very patient and listened to our needs and wants in designing our kitchen. He worked within our budget and most importantly, our life style. Arthur's goal was to create a kitchen that was appropriate for our family, and HE DID! Arthur was a pleasure to work with and ALWAYS returned a phone call and/or email, which was very important. In addition, Arthur worked very closely with our contractor, which was extremely helpful. Arthur also assisted us in attaining the look we were after by making great recommendations for cabinetry (color and styling), counter tops, island, and back splash. He is detail oriented. We were provided with samples and never felt rushed. We were always welcomed in the show room. Also very happy with quality of cabinetry. We also used Majestic to template our countertops and island. “Many thanks to Marianne Clifford at PPK for my fabulous new kitchen!!! The entire process, from our first visit at PPK to the completion of the project, was smooth and almost stress free! Marianne listened to our ideas and thoughts carefully and came up with a plan for our new kitchen that perfectly incorporated our ideas with her expertise. She was very helpful and knowledgeable as we selected cabinets, countertops, flooring, etc. She took into account our budget as well as our preferences and guided us to the products that fit both our design and our budget. We decided to go with PPK for the entire project and were very happy with how well the construction process went. Gene and Chris were truly the "A" team as the lead construction crew for our project. They started the project on time and were on sight every day throughout. They were pleasant to have in our home and after having them here for weeks we actually feel like they are our friends. And our two dogs really miss having Chris here!! All of the subcontractors were professional, showed up on schedule, and completed their work diligently. We are very happy with our newly refinished hardwood floors, the tile work on our new kitchen and hallway and backsplash is superb! The granite counters were cut and installed perfectly! The crew found a few surprises in the walls upon demolition, including HVAC and plumbing in places they weren't expecting but they did not allow those issues to change the overall design. We went from a traditional center hall colonial with separate kitchen, dining room and living room to an open concept area with the kitchen, dining and living areas all one big L shaped room. The HVAC and plumbing in the walls could easily have made our ideas impossible but the "A" team made it happen!! The project did take a bit longer than we expected but it wasn't because they weren't here every day, working hard. They even did a few extra things for us, like putting up trim in the living room, that wasn't in the scope of the job. We could not be happier with the outcome and would recommend PPK, Marianne Clifford, Gene VanAmburgh, Chris Boulant, Mike the electrician, Wayne the plumber, Jason the tile guy and Tom the floor guy to anyone who is looking to update their home or business!! “After meeting and reviewing our renovation projects with reputable cabinet companies, we are so thrilled we selected Amy Van Wei, at Columbia CabinetWorks, to design our Brookhaven kitchen and master bath. We made this decision because Amy offered us quality, value and comprehensive design services prior to our having to make a financial commitment. We were gutting our kitchen and master bathroom which required thoughtful planning, imagination and skill as we were tearing down walls, removing closets, moving our garage entry into our home, adding french doors and windows and envisioning adjacent space. Amy executed every detail at the highest level of design. She really cares that the customer is satisfied throughout the process; and, she delivered functional, beautiful cabinetry on time and within our budget. We so appreciate that Amy was available to consult on everything kitchen and bath including sinks, appliances, countertops, tile, lighting and paint (even though she doesn't sell these products or benefit from the time she spends helping.) From start to finish she took the time to be sure the project was right showing us many options and making changes throughout the process with patience and a smile. We were thrilled and surprised to see Amy connect personally with our contractor to gave him a notebook filled with comprehensive installation instructions prior to delivery. At every pivotal period Amy was present including cabinet delivery and visits to our home during the installation process. These visits are part of the service that Amy delivers to everyone and her presence demonstrates how invested she is in her projects. Amy is professional, creative, trustworthy, reliable and has always been helpful whenever I call, email or text. Our Brookhaven cabinets are lovely. The finish on the white cabinets is terrific. The cherry wood island is the perfect anchor for our kitchen. All of the extras including pull outs, lazy susans, soft close drawers and cabinets function perfectly. We love the glass mullions, deep drawers, oversized pulls and the trim detail in the kitchen and master bath. We especially appreciate that Columbia CabinetWorks and Brookhaven stands behind their product and if something isn't completely right, it's replaced immediately. Amy, you and Columbia CabinetWorks exceeded our expectations. You took our space and completely reinvented both our kitchen and master bath transforming them from dated and basic into gorgeous and WOW. Thank you for a superb job.”

“Mary Alyce Evans is an extremely talented and creative designer. She was referred to me by a neighbor whose kitchen I love. We had a difficult spacing situation and by creatively opening some wall and moving a doorway Mary Alyce designed the perfect spaces for our kitchen, family room and dining room. The kitchen cabinets have beautiful details and are laid out perfectly. She custom designed the TV wall cabinet around my husband's extensive audio equipment - when needed it is all hidden behind beautiful cabinetry. Our first floor bathroom is gorgeous as well. Although a small space it now has a lot of functional but beautiful storage and a great shower. Mary Alyce is currently working on designs for our two remaining bathrooms. Our master bathroom suite design is great and again she had to work with odd spaces. I cannot wait to see it completed. I love living in the spaces she creates!”
