“We hired 314 because we had particular ideas about what we wanted, but recognized that we were amateur designers. 314 was terrific. First, they listened intensely. Then they turned our ideas into a holistic approach to something as underwhelming as a totally new master bathroom. We are in our mid 70's, and we're increasingly frightened over a shower door system which could easily have tripped either of us. Then, the floor tile was as slippery as can be. A large whirlpool tub was impossible for us to enter or exit without fear. Finally, we need support bars to retain our balance. All this 314 took on board and began narrowing down our needs and the trade-offs we might face. When we suggested a particular product, they did their homework and either agreed or offered a better idea. Their patience with us was admirable. The outcome was far better than we had envisioned. When omy wife found heavy-duty hand holds which masked the fact that they were safety items by looking natural or decorative, 314 easily incorporated them into the common design. As work progressed, 314 periodically monitored both parts and labor. Together with the builder, they fashioned a bathroom that looks terrific, is more safe than any we have seen, and which fits our needs at our age. The keystone of the design is a large shower with nothing to trip over, and with tile that looks great and is not slippery, with three distinct shower heads. New cabinets and sinks are striking. The lighting is excellence. The towel heater is very pleasant, and the walk-in jacuzzi is a tub that is easily used and comfortable. Finally, the floor is heated. All in all, their design, the choices, and their attention to detail has resulted in a room that is functional and delightful for a couple of any age. Only we and 314 know which fittings really can hold 500 lbs of pull. We feel completely safe and delighted with the design. Thanks much, 314!”
