“Nelson Interiors helped me revamp my entire first floor by coming up with an overall design scheme that updated the space, made it look a lot less cluttered, and incorporated a few family heirlooms while still keeping it functional. This involved paint colors, window treatments, lighting, furniture selections, and accent pieces. They also redid our master bath, encouraging us re-orient and open up the shower which makes the space look much more spacious and modern. Julie and Mark are easy to work with and responsive. “We just completed having VA Renovations complete 3 projects in our home. A small one (replacing a toilet), a medium sized one (adding end panels to our kitchen cabinets) and a large one (a hall bathroom remodel.) I can honestly say, that the performance of the team was excellent on all three types of projects. One differentiator was that in our initial project planning session, Geoffrey listened to what we wanted done and provided excellent ideas that would help us get as close to what we wanted but stay within a reasonable budget. My eyes are always bigger than my budget on these projects. I was also very impressed to be asked what was most important to me in a contractor. Of course, all things are important but he was interested in knowing what I cared most about so that his team could be sure to deliver. I was given the opportunity to explain that our schedules are difficult between two jobs and caring for our disabled son and that communication about when people were coming was critical to us. They definitely delivered on good communication. One way they did this was by building a relationship between us and the foreman and using technology to keep communication open. There was an introductory phone call with the job foreman and the owner before we started and then a group text between Geoffrey, the owner, our foreman and us that we used throughout the project. These things are not about the quality of work but more the quality of the process which was terrific. All that said, the quality of the work was also top notch. The crew that showed up did an excellent job and was very flexible to ensure we got a great result. Once work was done, we had the opportunity to do a final list and the few items were addressed promptly to ensure we were completely happy with the work. We could not be happier with the work and will definitely be using VA Renovations on our next project.”

“The company did a great job. They have a huge warehouse with granite and marble slabs ranging from the basic to the exotics. The choice is tramendous. Their installers did a great job...can't even see the seams!! Customer service is great: phone calls and e-mails every step of the way! From estimate to finished kitchen took less than 2 weeks. “I don’t know where to start! I started my Master Bathroom project with Looney Tile & Grout in July 2017 and ended it in October 2017. To no fault of their own, it took that long. But I have to say, I LOVE THEIR WORK. I spent a lot more monies than intended, but you get what you pay for. Also, I have an older home / recently moved in, so there were some known issues and unknown issues in the bathroom that they took care of for me. I’ll try just to mention the highlights, as it was a long project and so much happened. First, I would like to say, I LOVE AMY!!! I primary dealt with her on my project. She was essentially the project manager / coordinator. I can’t forget Michael Looney, the owner who came out and gave me estimate / proposal. Also, I can’t forget the entire team from tile guys (James / Dustin / Erskin), to plumbers, electricians and general contractor (Dana). Everyone was great. Not perfect, but great. No one is perfect. Two, I had several issues with one of my vendors for bathroom accessories. One of them… Michael / Amy took the lead on that issue for me and due to their hard work, got a credit from that vendor for the item they sent me in the wrong color. Another refund issue with that same vendor, Amy went ahead and credited me a refund, so I didn’t have to have an extended wait on the vendor. Three, communication was great thru the entire project. Communication was a little heavy at the beginning, but it was quickly adjusted and it was great. Three, a special shoot out to James and Dana. James for the fantastic tile work he did in the bathroom! Dana for the great job of putting in all the accessories. With this type of job and duration especially, I couldn’t be there all of the time. I built a professional trust with these guys and they never let me down! One more shot out to Dana for coming to my house several times and working with me to get all the accessories installed just the way I wanted them. He even ensured I got a quote for another project that is needed, unrelated to the bathroom! Lastly, I want to foot stomp, Looney Tile & Grout is not perfect. I don’t think there are any perfect people or businesses, because there were areas of improvement. But as I hope you can tell I am thoroughly please with their work; they did a phenomenal job on my Master Bathroom and I WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN ON MY GUEST BATHROOM!!! They are well worth the money. It is very true what they say….. Bathrooms and kitchens sell homes, don’t skimp on either one of those projects! Don’t forget to check out my before and after pictures.”
