“Hiring Wayne Christian to do our kitchen remodel was the absolute best decision we made in the entire project. We had to bury a 17 foot steel I-beam in the ceiling to hold up the 2nd story of our house in order to remove a wall that opened up our space. There were many obstacles in doing this, including routing of electrical, plumbing vents, and venting of our exhaust hood to the outside. Wayne always had a solution and discussed options with us. Despite the additional time involved to do some of this, he was extremely fair with change orders and we never felt "nickeled and dimed." He worked very well with other parties including the kitchen designer, the cabinet installer, and the granite fabricator/installer so that led to a minimum of problems during the job. He works alone (although sometimes with his son Andrew in the summer) so if you are looking for the fastest job, look elsewhere. But he was diligent in keeping our job moving forward with very few days that he had to go to another client/project. Wayne is a terrific person, very creative, very meticulous, and always conscious of minimizing the disruption on us. We feel he has become a friend, plus someone we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. All-in-all, it was the best experience we've ever had with a remodeling contractor. Highly recommended! “As a veteran of Silicon Valley, I have recognized that integrated platforms provide the best value for end users. What if a construction company could integrate the various disciplines associated with remodeling/new home construction into a platform like approach? Imagine having to deal with a separate architect, a separate 3D renderer, a separate interior designer, various showrooms where all care about their own individual services and products? As we look back at our experience with the Greenberg Design Gallery team together with the Greenberg Construction team; from the original concept stage, to budgeting, design, and implementation/cost trade-offs, to securing our permit, we have recognized that indeed the team at Greenberg have implemented a very efficient platform. The team is highly technical and uses state of the art architectural design tools to take their clients through the journey in a very timely manner. In fact, we believe the value we have received in the design to permit phase will eventually save us a considerable amount as we anticipate minimal changes during the build phase. Greenberg architected our new home vision in the first month, and by empowering us with their 3D modeling package, we were able to request modifications and fine tune our entire house in the ensuing two months. In parallel, we were visiting their showroom in Palo Alto (where they have a rich selection of material), and spent quality time with their interior designers to help us reach consensus on the majority of the type of finishes for our house. So in approximately three months we went from vision to design to permit and material type selection. Of course, the entire design and office team’s great attitude and genuine care ties all the loose ends. We highly recommend you visit Greenberg Design Gallery in person to assess for yourself.”

“I hired this firm for a very unique job which turned out above my expectations. Ms. Adkins is an outstanding consultant and provided me with options that I did not know about which is a much more professional approach than some of the more "off-the-shelf" companies that I had dealt with in the past. “We enthusiastically recommend Danny Safirstein and his team to anyone who is planning a home remodeling project. Our experience with them was outstanding. They redesigned and upgraded the kitchen and two bathrooms in our new "dream home"--to our complete satisfaction and within our relatively tight timeline and budget. Other contractors we interviewed, prior to our decision to award the remodeling contract to Danny and team, said that they could not complete the work within our timeframe. Thus, what Danny and his team accomplished was no small feat, especially given the various logistical complications related to the pandemic at that time. What specific qualities did we find most appealing about this team? I would say their professionalism, follow-through commitment, and pride in their work. They really listened to our needs, provided sound and candid advice, and then respected and implemented the decisions we made about the work we wanted done. Moreover, both staff and contractors worked together seamlessly, making it easy on us as the clients to keep abreast of progress and results. It's now been almost two years since the work was completed. We are still busy admiring our new kitchen and bathrooms. And we very much appreciate that Danny has reached out to us a year after the work was completed, just to see that no remodeling-related issues had cropped up after the fact. “Diablo Valley Cabinetry provided one of the best remodel experiences that we have had. Not only with the outcome the most beautiful product that we could have asked for, but the process was smooth as well. They were very involved with every detail and the owner actually came to our house on many occasions to oversee everything! I have never experienced that kind of service from another company. They are professional in every aspect of their dealings and they truly provide top of the line product.
