“Jeff and the entire Alpha team are outstanding! They did a complete renovation of our entire first floor, including kitchen, while we were living in the home. From start to finish, the process was a breeze because of their clear communication, partnership and professionalism, and they left the site spotless every day. The end results looks just like the design drawings. We cannot say enough about their subcontractors and the quality of their work. It still looks brand new nearly 3 years later. Jeff provided clear budgets and timelines and kept both on target throughout the project. We highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again on our next project.”

“From design to completion, S&S Homes does fabulous work. We contacted Tony in 2018 regarding a renovation project which required major construction. Oftentimes, projects like this are tough, especially living in the space while the renovation is in process, but they made the experience as smooth as possible. “Emery Design & Woodwork (Ryan and his team) did an outstanding job on our stairway remodel!!! We went from drab white spindles & boring carpet to fab rod iron spindles and solid hardwood stairs. :) They were very polite, timely, courteous, conscientious, and paid great attention to detail. They finished the project in the time they promised (major bonus!). If we had questions they took the time to make sure we were satisfied. Ryan was always available to answer our questions and hear our suggestions (and, believe me, we are very particular with our home!). Last minute changes weren't an issue for this team - they really wanted to make the customer happy (and they definitely did!). :) Bottom line - they were fabulous to work with and our stairway is now transformed into a lovely showcase!!! :) Thanks again, Ryan and team, you guys are true professionals!!! :)”

“Elizabeth has interior designed our former home and our current home including basement; to say we know her work would be an understatement. We hired Elizabeth mainly for her exquisite taste in design and colors included with that was an energy of excitement and the willingness to help us choose the perfect design and/or scheme for our home. (We interviewed 7 other Interior Designers before Elizabeth.) Always professional. Great ideas; showed us various styles for various rooms with specified colors and window treatments to match. Guesswork is taken away; meaning, we did not have to guess which style was going to work best in a particular room(s), we just had to pick the one we wanted. Overall, after 9 years in our current home, we still receive the highest of compliments from friends, guests and neighbors...a great feeling! Again, the scope of the work was for paint colors, window treatments and installation, furniture, accessories and space planning. Elizabeth does it all with great success!”

“Advance electric is probably one of the best sources for unique and beautiful fixtures in northern Michigan. The staff is very helpful in selection and are generous with photos, printed information, books, etc for borrowing while you make decisions. They always have some beautiful one-of-a-kind things on sale at great prices or you can order most anything you would want.”
