“I needed a design produced for our new kitchen extension and had tried a few local kitchen companies. All the designs that came back were very standard and we wanted something a bit different. I was incredibly please , that when I approached Herts Kitchen Design Company, they provided a fantastic one to one service and created a amazing design that we would never of thought of. Their professional service provided us with a complete project with so little ease. I would highly recommend them to work on any project . “We were having a significant amount of extension work carried out by a local professional project management company. A new kitchen was a major part of this project. The project management company directed us towards their usual fitter - an established company we were aware of. We saw this company and described a feature we wanted. We were told by them that there was no space for this feature. We were supplied with one black and white plan of what we were told could be done. We got the impression that no effort was being put in and the company assumed they already had our business and we were an inconvenience. We then looked around and found Arc+be. From the beginning it was a totally different experience. Jide is so enthusiastic about his work. He began by saying not only was there room for the feature we wanted but he could make it bigger if so desired. He was friendly and appeared as excited about our new kitchen as we were. He spent time with us finding out our likes and dislikes and what use was to be made of the kitchen - a lot of our cooking is not traditional western style, though much is. Jide came up with three suggested plans for us, not only showing the proposed layouts but, for each one, providing a colour, computer generated image of what it would look like. He talked through all the options with us and different finishes etc.. We had no hesitation in placing our order with this company. We were provided with a full cost breakdown, copy of the plan and image of the fitted product together with pictures of the white goods, cupboards, finishes (down to the draw handles) we had chosen. The whole extension was a stressful time but having the kitchen fitted was a pleasure. We were kept informed at all stages, work was done when we were told it would be done and when there was a glitch we were brought solutions not excuses. (e.g. the American style fridge freezer we had selected was not available, Jide told us this and offered us a better one, at the same price to us, that he had already ensured was available). Throughout the build, and after it had been completed, we felt that this project was as important to Arc+be as it was to us. Everyone we dealt with - the planner, the fitter, the tile fitter - came across as true professionals who took a pride in their work and enjoyed what they were doing and we're not just doing a job. They are craftsmen (and women). I am not in the habit of making recommendations but I have already recommended this company to a number of people. I would say to anyone thinking of a new kitchen, talk to this company and compare them to others. I feel sure they will come out on top.”

“We had a vision. Adam made it come to life. For too long we were talking about rearranging our Victorian terraced home to create a kitchen diner which could be the centre of family life. We came up with a two part plan of adding a conservatory and relocating the kitchen. Part one was completed last autumn and then we set about looking for help in the design and installation of a kitchen. We went to the large DIY outlets and a large retailer but although they could provide to our design they weren't inspiring. We took a punt and thought we'd try a local independent and that was when we met Adam. From the start Adam listened and made suggestions and improvements. He was patient and came up with designs and additions to enhance the dream kitchen we were chasing. We'd budgeted, of course, and we blew that budget, of course, but what we got was a kitchen far better than we'd imagined at the start. We found Adam's costings competitive and everything was set out for us. No hidden extras only additions for work that we wanted. There were problems. We are talking about a 140 year old house and original flooring. Adam would show us the problem and talk through the options. So everything took a little longer than expected; it was worth the wait. I must also mention the help and support that Elizabeth, Adam's wife, gave to help us choose the things that make a great kitchen. Finally, all of the tradesmen Adam used were professional and Pleasant. I recommend Adam for your kitchen.”

“Well.....There is no easy way of saying this but to start off with FAB is only the beginning, I have elderly grandparents who needed a new downstairs shower room as they are getting slightly old & don't like having a bath's anymore & we had a idea of it being downstairs as a extension for easy mobility for them as they are getting older it is more practical. My Grandparents are very fussy & my Nan is slightly OCD and expects perfection so I was slightly worried at who would be coming into their home & doing the work for them and like most of our worries if I would have to take time off work to be there whilst the work was going on as they are elderly. I Was recommended Ovolo Construction (Colin & John) by a friend who had recently had a extension built by them & I am SOOOO GLAD that we had. The level of service from Colin who is a happy chap made Nan & granddad feel very at ease with his presence in their home considering he was ripping walls down & basically turning their home upside down for the few weeks they was there. He has a polite & courteous manner about him & was very respectful about mess they would make (This was expected with building works) & would clean up every day after them self's & leave there home in somewhat respectable manner for a "building site" of an evening ensuring my Nan & granddad could not have any trips & falls over anything as it was leading off from the kitchen which they use on a regular basis. I didn't have to take any time off work & use my holiday because of his high level of service & his outstanding workman ship if you need someone to get the job done to a amazing standard with no worries about leaving the workman in your home then Ovolo Are the builders you need.”
