After our first meeting with Paul, I knew this was going to be the company I wanted to use for our new kitchen. He was patient with us and the design blew us away. ““I can honestly say that dealing with hobsons|choice was a pleasure from start to finish. They were the only kitchen company who actually listened to the brief, and came back with drawings and designs which not only reflected what we wanted, but incorporated some brilliant new ideas. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their showrooms were so comprehensively equipped that I have ended up with a far better range of kitchen hardware than I had ever known existed – I cannot now imagine life without a steam oven, let alone my boiling water tap! Or the induction hob, come to that. They took responsibility for the whole project from start to finish, so that there was a seamless process from initial conversation through to returning home to a beautiful kitchen (with flowers, basic food and a bottle of champagne kindly provided by Richard Carter and his team). Our trust in hobsons|choice was entirely justified, and their after-sales service has been superb. There were no panic phone calls or queries while we were away, and we came back to find everything was perfect (except that after 48 hours of travel I had to ring them to find out how to work the coffee machine!). We have returned to them for further work, for dining furniture, and for a new bathroom. They designed a special shelving unit to blend with the olivewood cupboards, admired by everyone. Their workmen are of the highest calibre, and every detail is taken care of. Richard seemed to have an intuitive grasp of what I would like, and how I would want things to be, and that was very reassuring when you know you will be away for the entire project. hobsons|choice are a pleasure to deal with – two friends of mine are already using them thanks to my eulogies.””

“Our kitchen was completed about 18 months ago and we love it Simon made it really easy at the design stage - and it was a mixture of me going to the showroom and Simon coming to our house. he had some great suggestions but kept to the simplicity and the style we wanted. We knocked 2 rooms into one to create one large kitchen All the work (with the exception of the floor) was done by contractors who do a lot of work for intoto and are used to working at a high standard and not one of them needed to be called back. work started on time and finished on time and the house was left in a clean and tidy state every night and we felt we could trust all of the contractors who came into our house . The only issue we had was with the Karndean floor - it was arranged through intoto but Karndean weren't great and they did have to come back twice to finish the floor properly couldn't recommend the Wokingham Intoto team highly enough.”

“Keith and his team are excellent and we are very pleased with the result. We had a main bathroom refurbishment and installed a new ensuite shower room and toilet to our loft room. They might not be the cheapest but it was worth paying a little extra for such a great job. Started and finish on schedule. Very pleasant and friendly to work with, even the neighbours were full of praise for them. The finish can't be faulted. I would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“Jeremy designed and fitted a new bathroom for us in January 2016. This was an extensive change to the bathroom – involving stripping everything out of the room, re-plumbing the bathroom components to new locations and re-decorating. We’re very happy with our finished bathroom – the quality of the design, fitting and components in excellent – like something from a posh hotel room! Jeremy’s design makes impressive use of the available space – we previously just had a shower over the bath and now have a separate walk-in/wetroom-style shower and a large roll-top bath in the same space, without the room feeling cramped or compromised in any way. Jeremy designed our bathroom and managed the fitting – including: - Working with us to agree the layout in detail (walking through it in the room and providing diagrams) - Helping select materials and fittings - Arranging logistics such a certifications, skip hire, permits etc - Ordering the materials and fittings and all other supplies - Engaging builders, plasterers, plumbers and electrician - Managing the fitting, decoration and finishing - Aftercare: including walking us through how to use all the components and even touching up the paint when we had a small water leak (caused by a problem unrelated to the work on the bathroom) The bathroom was completed in the agreed timescales and to a very high standard. I believe Jeremy always works with the same tradespeople to fit the bathrooms – they were all very polite and tidy while fitting the bathroom and Jeremy was to hand to sort out any queries or minor issues. We are pleased with the finished bathroom and would recommend Jeremy for bathroom projects.”
