“My husband and I built our retirement home high in the mountains north of Asheville. We were referred to Mason by a builder, and although we ultimately went with another builder, we stayed with him for our kitchen/baths. This was our dream home...log and timber, and I am an avid cook, but had NO idea how to begin designing a kitchen. I spent many mornings with Mason...he asked specific questions about how I cooked and organized, and my likes/dislikes. It came out better than I ever expected. We wanted a home that was sophisticated, yet rustic. He suggested knotty cherry that was perfect...also a black heirloom that looks really rustic (on my island and as a piece of furniture incorporated within the caramel colored cabinetry). Also, I knew I wanted something different above a 48 inch rangetop.... and we finally settled on a stone surround that mirrored our large stone fireplace in the great room across from it, , that included spice racks built into the stone on each side. I haven't mentioned yet that the prices were comparable to semi-custom- he was less than our Lowes estimate (for comparable materials). I went with his suggestions in the baths....particularly the Master, and all are beautiful. We get as many compliments on the kitchen as on the beautiful log trusses/ ceilings/ and woodwork in this home! Thank you Mason! Elaine & Dan Crabb”

“A&S was the most professional home improvement contractor we dealt with for our sunroom addition out of four contractors who were requested to bid on the job. Eric was professional and promptly showed up when he said he would be there. He got back to us quickly on questions and started the project when he said the project would start. His entire crew was very professional, courteous and did great work. The project more than met expectations and was on time and on budget. Highly recommended. The best renovation experience I have had in the Hendersonville area.”

“We had just moved to a home near the beach and we needed a totally different style of decorating than we had in our previous home. Leslie Thompson of Malibu West Interiors gave us just what we were looking for, a cozy but unique design to our home. Leslie did not give me a cookie cutter style. She worked with me to learn my personality and expectations. The result is a style that represents me and not a photo from a magazine. Leslie provided elements that you will not see anywhere else. I found this design company to be friendly, efficient and fair. I have used many designers over the years and this is the most honest and dependable firm I have ever worked with. We enjoyed working with them so much that we are now collaborating on our exterior living space. It is easy to see how Malibu West Interiors is highly rated and has won national recognition.”

“My business partner and I hired Shawn at Align to assist us in a remodeling of our office and waiting room area. Neither of us are very skilled in the area of design so we were very happy to have the assistance. Shawn was able to take our very rough description of what we wanted and turn it into a design that exceeded our expectations. She brough wonderfull ideas to the table that we never even considered. After the design was finalized she followed up regularly with us and communicated directly with the contracter to save us time. We highly recommend Align design.”

“We worked with Walker Woodworking during a major 15 month home renovation. They completed our kitchen cabinets, master vanity, sliding barn door and kids bath vanity. They were a joy to work with and made that part of our renovation process the most enjoyable part. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat. I LOVE our cabinets and couldn't be more pleased.”

“These folks were great to work with. They measured twice before they put the granite in our kitchen, and had workers who were friendly and experienced. One of the workers made a trip out to our house after the job was done to fix a little spot - free of charge!”
